Friday Facts

For those totally unaware, a new documentary, "Kiss & Tail" has hit stores and it's a behind the scenes look at hip hop groupies. The film uses the life of Karrine "Superhead" Steffans as a reference point and exposes the seedy side of the music industry. I highly recommend this film because I believe it shows young girls and women as well, that sleeping your way to the top of your profession is not the way to go. Only hard work and persefernce will help one become sucessful. The film includes interviews with Ja Rule, Big Boi, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks of G Unit and Karrine Steffans, among others. Check it out.

Friday Facts

In light of all the coverage of Michael Jackson's untimely and tragic death, I thought I'd share some thoughts regarding the coverage and those who have chosen to speak out now that he's gone. I believe some are using his death as a means of self promotion, and I thinks it's beyond irreprehensible. Some have chosen to focus on certain aspects of his personal life and that's shameful as well. No one knows what happened in his home or when and it isn't fair to speculate or assume anything. I think the best thing to do is remember the talented man with the heart of gold and he will be able to do what he needs to. Rest in eternal peace.
