Rapper Big Sean was arraigned for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old fan after a concert. Big Sean appeared at a concert some time back, after which he allegedly assaulted the fan. He posted $500 bail. Big Sean is due back in court next month. He has been touring with Wiz Khalifa on the Rolling Papers tour. Evelyn Lozada, star of VH1's "Basketball Wives", has confirmed that she will not be returning to the show for it's fourth season. She has also quit the social networking site Twitter as well. VH1 reportedly posted an item on it's site accusing the star of cheating on fiance Chad Oochocino with Terrell Owens. There's been no confirmation or denial of the accusation. VH1 has since removed the post from it's site. There's also a rumor swirling currently that she's expecting. Singer Rihanna was not chosen as Esquire magazine's sexiest woman alive. The honor went to Katrina Boden, star of "30 Rock". After selling over one million copies in it's first week, rumors are now swirling that Lil Wayne's record label purchased extra copies of the album to push it over the million sells mark. Cash Money Records CEO Bryan "Birdman" Williams dispelled the rumors. Rapper/entrepreneur Jay Z has added another honor to his list of awards. Hova was ranked number 21 of Vanity Fair magazine's list of movers and shakers who are shaping life in America. Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg and Google's Larry Page and Sergey Brin also made the magazine's list. Hova, who heads Rock Nation Records and management and recently purchased Billionaire Boys Club clothing line, was honored earlier in the year by Fortune magazine, which named him number one on the list of hip hop's highest earners. While the career of his 22-year-old son Romeo has been on the rise lately, Master P hasn't been as lucky. He has, in fact, been battling his former film crew over allegations that money owed them was never received. In 2003, when he was making the movie "Papa P", crew members who worked on the movie sued him over 240,000 for lack of payment for services, and won. Now, TMZ is reporting that the rapper , born Percy Miller, never paid his debt. Now, eight years later, the crew has taken their grief to Los Angeles' Bankruptcy court in a class action suit. TMZ also reports that the plaintiff's goal is to bankrupt the rap mogul, who at one time was reportedly worth $600 million, so that he will eventually have to pay through a trustee. Let the rumors of a Fugees reunion begin. Lauryn Hill, who just gave birth to her sixth child, was joined on stage during a recent performance on the Rock The Bells tour by fellow Fugees alum Pras. The two performed Fugess classics "Ready Or Not" and "Killing Me Softly". Hill says the appearance was a surprise, leaving some to speculate whether a Fugess reunion will happen. Only time will tell. Darren Franich was evicted from the "Big Brother" house, leaving four contestants to compete for the grand prize. Fans can look forward to more drama on the show. Soulja Boy has issued an apology to all military veterans and their families after coming under fire for the lyrics to his latest hit. He says the song will not appear on his next album, and his team is currently removing the video of the song from the internet. Although Miami rapper Rick Ross is still working on his next album, one reviewer as already given the project his stamp of approval. Young Money rapper Drake, while sitting in the VIP with Ross during a release party for "Tha Carter 4", stated that "God Forgives, I Don't" is a classic recording along with "Doggy Style" and "Ready To Die". DJ Khaled even gave the upcoming project his seal of approval as well. "God Forgives, I Don't" doesn't have a release date. "Take Care' hits store shelves on October 24. In more DJ Khaled news, the producer/DJ announced on New York's Hot 97 that he's signed Jamaican reggae star Mavado to his We The Best Music Group. Khaled said the VP Records alum, who made a cameo appearance in Drake's "Find Your Love" was a natural fit for the label because of his authenticity. Mavado joins Ace Hood on the roster of Khaled's hit making imprint. Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, the wife of rapper T.I., recently let it be known in an interview with TMZ that she's none too pleased with federal authorities after they took her husband back into custody. It seems they weren't happy with T.I's mode of transportation from prison to a halfway house. Cottle says if they should have spoken up before Tip boarded the bus instead of taking pictures. Before the latest mixup, T.I. was set to serve the remaining days of his 11-month sentence in a halfway house in Atlanta. Those who believe album leaks are a bad thing should talk to Lil Wayne. The Young Money CEO is pleased that new estimates predict his new album, "Tha Carter 4", will sell one million units. He says he's happy the album hit the internet. His associates don't seem concerned either. It seems like their right. On Tuesday, Billboard estimated that "Tha Carter 4' was on pace to sell between 850,000 and 900,000 copies in its first week. HITS Daily Double later predicted that it would sell 975,000 copies. Both estimates put Wayne's sells above the 436,000 Kanye West and Jay Z's "Watch The Throne" moved. It looks like Wayne's flow of Young Money isn't about to stop any time soon. Mobb Deep announced a new deal with Sony's RED Distribution that will ensure that their "Infamy" doesn't fade any time soon. The Queensbridge rap duo issued a press release confirming the new relationship between their own Infamous Records and RED Distribution, the independent distribution arm of Sony Music. No word on when an album will be released. Vanessa and Angela Simmons, daughters of Rev Run of the legendary Run-DMC grace the cover of the latest issue of Jet magazine. The dynamic duo discuss their shoe line and other business ventures they have in the works and their sense of style. The issue is on newsstands now. The film "The Help" topped the weekend box office once again, earning over $14 million dollars. "The Debt", "Apollo 18", "Shark Night 3D" and "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" round out the top five films of the week. Rapper T.I. is back in federal prison. Prison officials disapproved of the luxury bus the rapper used to move from the prison to a halfway house. Officials also claim the rapper mouthed off when he was picked up. He will now remain in prison until his original release date, September 29. It's unclear whether the rapper was aware of transporting instructions before the incident. After three seasons, TNT has cancelled the series "Hawthorne". No official reason has been given for the cancellation. After being seen at a club together, rumors are swirling that singer Ciera and rapper Ludacris are now dating. The two were spotted getting touchy, feely, and Ludacris' current lady love was no where in sight. Stay tuned. Rapper Soulja Boy has put his foot in his mouth again. Army veterans have made known their displeasure with the lyrics to his latest single "Get Real". A statement released is asking for an apology from the rapper. Although the show is a few months away, rumor has it that actor/comedian Eddie Murphy may host this year's Academy Awards. The case against entertainment executive James "Jimmy Henchman" Roseman is growing. Tony Martin, a former executive of Roseman's Czar Entertainment, will testify against him in court, according to Allhiphop. Martin has decided to cooperate with the federal government in the case against Henchman in exchange for a more lenient sentence. Martin, who was named and charged with multiple felonies along with Henchmen, will now be sentenced for money laundering in January as a result of the deal. As previously mentioned, the hip hop mogul, who has managed Game, Akon, Brandy and Sean Kingston plead not guilty to charges of "intentionally conspiring to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine, witness tampering and obstruction of justice". After being on the run for over a month, Henchmen was arrested in New York on June 21 after being apprehended by by federal agents. He is currently being held without bail on charges for running the nationwide cocaine operation. The wife of late Houston rapper Pimp C will honor him by creating a scholarship fund for those who want to make music. The late rapper, who was found dead at age 33 in a Los Angeles hotel in 2007, is revered for his work as one half of the rap duo UGK with friend Bun B. His death has been blamed no respiratory problems. According to Allhiphop.com, the rapper's wife, Chinara Butler, will auction the group's classic and gold-certified 1996 album "Ridin' Dirty" to help finance the scholarship. She told the website "Chad put his all into his music, learning the business of music. For people that want to succeed in the music industry, education is a must". Fresh off last season's appearance on "Dancing With The Stars", rapper Romeo Miller will reportedly launch a clothing line. According to Allhiphop.com, the line will be called College Boyys in College Girlls and will be marketed to young children to inspire them to attend college. There's no word on when the line will hit stores. Congratulations to Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown are in order. She and her husband welcomed a baby girl into their family. Just one day after leaving prison for a halfway house, rapper T.I has come under fire for taking a bus to the facility where he will serve out the rest of his sentence. Prison officials claim he didn't get permission to travel by bus, however, the rapper's camp claims he wasn't given any instructions regarding how to travel to the facility. Stay tuned. Just a week after Jay Z and Beyonce announce that the two are expecting, reportedly singer Rihanna has dropped Jay Z and Rock Nation as her managers. Rumors that the singer dropped the company surfaced some time ago, but were never proven true. Now, the rumors are surfacing again. Stay tuned. NBA star Chris Humphreys and singer Ray J reportedly met aboard a plane recently, and it was an awkward moment, to say the least. Ray J asked Humphreys if he knew who he was and Humphreys replied no. Singer Janet Jackson, the long silent Jackson sibling regarding whether or not to attend the upcoming tribute concert to her brother Michael Jackson said in a statement that she will not attend the concert due to the upcoming manslaughter trial of Dr Conrad Murray. Opening statements for the trial will be heard on September 27. The tribute concert, Michael Forever, will take place on October 8. Scheduled performers include Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo, Smokey Robinson and Beyonce. During his recent appearance on BET's "106 & Park" rising R&B star CJ Hilton talked about why music matters to him. The singer/songwriter has worked with Raphael Saadiq and Stevie Wonder, among others, and was praised by special guest co-host Letoya Luckett for his work ethic and talent. His debut album, "Cold Summer" is due this December. Rapper Game will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of his new album "R.E.D." with a book titled "The Making Of The R.E.D. Album". Fans know that the story of the album is an interesting one. Originally slated to hit store shelves in 09, the release date was changed nearly a dozen times. "The Making Of The R.E.D. Album" is available for digital download on Amazon.com. This seasons "Big Brother" has been filled with enough drama for a soap opera. Last night's episode certainly upped the drama ante a few notches. Singer Mark Anthony made the daytime television rounds discussing his recent split with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez. He says he still loves Lopez and didn't cheat. He also stated he didn't have an affair with Jada Pinkett Smith. The two do however, have incredible chemistry on the cable show "Hawthorne". Writer/director/ John Singleton has a new film due in theaters "Abduction". The film will star Taylor Lautner, from the Twilight franchise. The film hits theaters on September 23. Rapper T.I. pulled a fast one. In the beginning, it was reported that the rapper would be released from prison, then it was reported he wouldn't be. The rapper has been released. He had cameras following his every move. He's currently working on a reality show that will follow him as he attempts to focus on life out of prison. According to the Associated Press, the rapper will also co-author a fictional book with David Ritz about two childhood friends torn apart by dangerous dealings on the streets of Atlanta. The book, "Power & Beauty" will be released in October. Rapper Nicki Minaj stated in a recent interview that fans can expect more of her alter ego Roman Zolanski on her sophomore album. Fans seem to love the alter ego she introduced to the world on "Roman's Revenge". The rapper took home an award for best video for "Super Bass". Rapper DMX performed his first concert since being released from prison, and by all accounts, performed the best show of the year. He performed past hits for concert goers and left fans in a frenzy. It's been confirmed that rapper Pusha T has signed with Def Jam Records. The rapper, one half of the duo The Clipse, has stepped out on his own and has been linked to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label. He released his first solo project "Fear Of God earlier this year. A sequel, "Fear Of God 2: Let Us Pray", will serve as his debut album. The album does not yet have a release date. In celebration of her 40th birthday, actress Sanna Lathan graces the cover of the latest issue of Jet magazine. The actress discusses her career, advice she's received from her parents, her favorite things, men, marriage and turning 40. Jet magazine is on newsstands now. It appears that Lil Wayne isn't the only artist Drake would like to collaborate with. The Young Money emcee stated in an interview that he'd like to collaborate with Maybach Music boss Rick Ross. He believes the two have the right chemistry and track record for a collaborative effort. Stay tuned.

Singer Chris Brown had a mishap with a Rolex watch recently. As he was performing, he intended to toss the watch to the side of the stage, but tossed it out into the crowd instead. The watch was returned. In other Chris Brown news, actress Lindsay Lohan reportedly took to her Twitter account to arrange a date with the singer. Brown declined. Singer Beyonce confirmed that her pregnancy will not stop her upcoming appearance at the Michael Jackson tribute concert on October 8. As most know, the singer made the announcement at the MTV Awards. Some reports said rapper T.I. would be released from prison today, but a spokesperson says that's not so. The rapper will be released on next month. Hopefully soon, he'll get back to doing what he does best, making good music. Singer Johnny Gill has settled a suit filed against him by a executive at his label. Ira DeWitt filed suit against the singer for making defamatory statements about her on Twitter. The conflict between the two began when a song from Gill's still unreleased album was leaked over the internet. He accused Mrs DeWitt of leaking the song by saying it wasn't his CD. At any rate, the two have resolved the conflict between them and are ready to continue their business relationship. It's been a crazy couple of weeks for Compton rapper Game. First he tweeted the phone number of the Compton sheriffs department to his tens of thousands of Twitter followers resulting in jammed phone lines, now he after talking with police after being accused of punching a man in face outside a Hollywood nightclub, it appears he won't face charges. The west coast rapper was accused of punching a man in the face outside Colony night club in west Hollywood. The rapper insisted he didn't hit anyone, and video of the incident backs up his claim. The MC met with Los Angeles police regarding the matter and after reviewing the footage, authorities have decided not to press charges against him. New reports say photographer Breyon Williams spat on the rapper, resulting in the violent confrontation. Williams denies this new accusation and the matter has been turned over to the City Attorney for final review. Stay tuned. Legendary New Orleans label Cash Money Records has signed teen group Savvy to it's roster. The group stars in the internationally broadcast series "TheWannabes", which will premiere in North America on September 5 on Starz Kids & Families. The group hopes to bring its fame stateside with the show and their debut album. Cash Money CEO's Bryan "Birdman" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams welcomed the group with an event at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. Singer Solange Knowles claims she was discriminated against by the Miami Police Department. The claim stems from an incident where the singer attempted to enter a Miami night spot with a banana balloon. She claims she went across the street to dispose of the balloon, and returned to the club shortly after. A story told by a police spokesperson is that the singer became unruly when told she could not enter the club, and had to be taken aside. Yet another story has another spokesperson claiming the incident never occurred. Stay tuned as this story develops. Meanwhile, singer Kelly Rowland says she knew Beyonce was expecting, but didn't want to make any announcement. Other artists tweeted comments about Beyonce's announcement as well. One from writer/producer/singer Dream stated he was glad the secret has been revealed. First there was R Kelly and Jay Z, now according to Foxy Brown, she and Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige. Brown says the two have been working on music together for a collaboration album, although no other details are available. Hip hop's hottest couple of the moment, Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa are working on music together as well. No word on when an album will be released. With buzz over Lil Wayne's Jay Z diss track "I'm Good" threatening to break the internet, rapper Jadakiss took to his Twitter account to explain his appearance on the track. He claims that he was sent the track with no verses and he recorded his verse on the song three months ago. On Jay Z and Kanye West's "H.A.M." Hov seems to take a swipe at Weezy and Cash Money Records CEO Bryan "Baby" Williams, who boasted that Weezy has more money that Jay. Weezy's "I'm Good", which appears on "Tha Carter 4", responds to the jab. The song also features Drake and Jadakiss, which has many speculating that the two took sides in the beef. There's been no comment from Drake.The new cast for the upcoming season of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" has been revealed and it may be the best one yet. Chaz Bono, Nancy Grace, Ricki Lake, Rob Kardashian, David Arquette, Ron Artest, Kristin Cavallari, J. R. Martinez, Hope Solo, Elisabetta Canalis, Chynna Phillips and Carson Kreesley will all compete for the grand prize. The show's new season will begin September 19. The ABC series "Bachelor Pad" contains enough drama to outdo any soap opera. Last night's kiss offs are ample proof. Be sure to continue tuning in.
