Singer/actor Ray J recently mocked rapper Kanye West while in an airport by pretending to attack photographers waiting to take pictures. Some time ago Ray J recorded a single suggesting that he slept with West's current girlfriend/baby mama Kim Kardashian first. So far, West hasn't commented on the single or incident at the airport. Rapper DMX reportedly owes $1 million dollars in back child support. The rapper has had his share of run ins with the law and other problems. No word on when or how the child support matter will be worked out. Reportedly Jay Z and Beyoncé visited little North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. No word on what if any gifts were given to the infant, but most likely they weren't too shabby. Rapper Rick Ross has reportedly collaborated on a song with Rachel Jentel, friend of slain Florida teen Trayvon Martin. No word on when the song will be released. As if R&B crooner Miguel opening at the Palladium in Hollywood isn't enough to be named one of the year's hottest shows, things have just kicked up a notch as newcomer Austin Brown announced via Twitter that he will open the show. Brown is the son of Rebbie Brown aka Rebbie Jackson and nephew of the late Michael Jackson. He released his debut album "Highway 85" to critical acclaim and continued to garner national attention with his brief but sizzling performance on the 2013 BET Awards. The show, presented by Bud Light Music First and Myspace, takes place tomorrow. On the tube: "MasterChef" on Fox, "Big Brother" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "America's Got Talent" on NBC. Rapper Nicki Minaj has responded to producer DJ Khaled's marriage proposal. by saying he was joking and that the two are just close friends. Khaled went to MTV to asked for the rapper's hand in marriage, and even pulled out an engagement ring. Stay tuned as this saga continues. Fugees video director Aswad Ayinde will most likely spend quite a bit of time in jail. He's been hit with 27 charges after raping his daughters. Ayinde, who also goes by the name Charles McGill, fathered six children with his daughters over a twenty year period dating back to the 1980's. The 51-year-old former director has nine children with his ex-wife Beverly and at least three other children with two other women in Brooklyn as well. He's best known for directing the clip for the Fugees single "Killing Me Softly". Ayinde will face the first of five trials next month. He's been hit with 27 charges including aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, lewdness, child endangerment, aggravated criminal sexual contact and criminal sexual contact. Ayinde kept his children quiet about the abuse by beating them with wooden boards or kicking them with steel-toed boots. No word on when the first trial will begin. Odd Future front man Tyler, the Creator, stated that he wanted to collaborate with rapper Kanye West on a track on his new album, and although West wanted to appear on the track, he wasn't right for the direction the track was going. Looks like business will go on as usual. Rapper Iggy Azalea will return to her homeland to open for singer Beyoncé for the Australian dates of the Mrs. Carter Show Tour. Making the announcement via Twitter, the rapper and Wilhelmina model added that she'll open for the New Zealand dates as well. Answering a few fan tweets, the rapper added that she'll have new staging and costumes designed by Pucci, but has no plans to perform any other shows than those that are a part of the Mrs. Carter Show. She was filled with emotion as she shared the news with fans. Her Island/Def Jam debut "The New Classic" is slated for a September release. The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour kicks off in Australia on October 17 at the Auckland Vector Arena. On DVD: "42". The superhero film "The Wolverine"  topped the weekend box office, earning over $55 million. "The Conjuring", "Despicable Me 2", "Turbo" and "Grown Ups 2" round out the top five films of the week. As part of her bankruptcy settlement, singer Toni Braxton has lost the rights to several hit songs. The singer has had financial trouble for some time. Here's to her bouncing back. Singer Frank Ocean won't be recording for some time. He reportedly has a tear on his vocal chords. He received the diagnosis during a visitor to the doctor.  The singer had to cancel the remaining dates of an Australian tour. No word on when or if the dates will be rescheduled. Things apparently didn't go well during the Macy's Music Festival in Cincinnati over the weekend. Singer R. Kelly was reportedly an hour late, thus, the crowd got restless as they waited. Kelly performed his set as intended when he arrived. New couple alert. Reportedly singer Kelly Rowland and rapper Pusha T. are now an item. The two haven't commented on their relationship. The adage "perfection takes time" is one that singer Beyoncé may be standing by. The pop star has had fans itching for new music. She's released a few songs including "Grown Woman", "Standing On The Sun" and "Bow Down", posted shots from the studio and collaborated with Jay Z and The Dream, but has yet to announce a release date for her album. MTV News asked what's going on with the album after the Hollywood Reported claimed that she scrapped 50 songs and put the album behind schedule. A representative for the singer denied the rumor, telling the Huffington Post that no release date had been set for the album, which the Destiny's Child alum has been working on while touring. Touring has taken up much of the 31-year-old singer's time. She's been managing herself and set out on the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in April, with the domestic run kicking off in late June. No matter how slowly she takes things, this year has definitely shown the power of Beyoncé. Aside from singing at the presidential inauguration and headlining the Super Bowl half time show, she inked multimillion dollar endorsement deals with H&M and Pepsi, both of which made for cross-promotional efforts by fusing two of the aforementioned singles in their ads. For now, it appears that the album will be released this year, potentially lead by the single "Bow Down". A snippet of the video was released online last week. Rapper Wale got into hot water while on a plane recently. He was asked to turn his cell phone off by personnel, but refused. He was later escorted off the plane. No comment from the rapper on the incident. Those who use social media should be very careful about what they post. Some time ago, rapper Game accused a former nanny of stealing and lying. He's since Instagrammed a photo with a not so flattering comment. The woman now says that because of his actions, she cannot find work. No word on if any legal action will be taken. Fox is still in the process of assembling its panel of judges for "American Idol". Among those rumored to be joining the show are actress Jennifer Lopez, who left after one season. Former contestant Jennifer Hudson has also been mentioned as a possible addition as a judge on the show. We'll have to wait and see what happens.  Rapper Nas recently participated in the AC360 "Race and Justice In America 2" town hall on Tuesday night, appearing along side guest commentators Tea Party 365's David Webb; the New York Times' Charles Blow; Davenport University's Andre Perry; and BET's Micheala Angela Davis. Nas, who has a hip hop fellowship named after him by Harvard University's W.EB. DuBois Institute and the Hip Hop Archive, indicated that "guilt" and ignorance" are factors in dividing color lines. CNN"s town hall was broadcast over two nights, taking an in-depth look at hidden biases in the nation and inspired by the verdict and polarized reactions to verdict in the George Zimmerman criminal trial in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. The New York nightclub where the Chris Brown/Drake brawl occurred has been ordered to closed its doors for a week and pay a $10,000 fine. While the brawl spawned several lawsuits, both Drake and Brown have been cleared of any wrongdoing. In more Chris Brown news, the woman who accused him of pushing her down in a nightclub has filed suit against Brown. The woman is seeking $25,000 in damages for physical harm and emotional distress. The club says she's lying about the incident and tried to repeatedly get on stage as Brown was performing before being escorted out by security. Brown hasn't commented on the matter. Rapper Kanye West may not be charged at all after attacking a photographer at LAX recently. Despite the fact that the incident was caught on tape, West won't be serving any jail time. Billboard magazine  hasn't recognized digital sales of rapper Jay Z's "Magna Carta Holy Grail" via mobile phone giant Samsung. In response, the rapper has called Billboard irrelevant. He still has the No. 1 album in the country, however, with no signs of slowing down. Model/actress Kenya Moore will return to the "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta". She'll receive 60,000 per episode, in addition, she'll also receive a ratings bonus. Congratulations. Concert dates for singer Solange Knowles have been cancelled. No reason has been given for the cancellation. The singer has reportedly been working on a new album, although no release date has been announced. Rapper Eve recently announced she'll be hitting the road beginning in August to support her latest album "Lip Lock". It's the first time she' s promoted a project since 2002's "Eve-Olution". She says she's evolved and that there's something on the album for those who loved her during  her Ruff Ryders days. Singer Chris Brown is partially off the hook for a fender bender he was involved in recently. He was only charged with leaving the scene. Driving with an expired license and no insurance charges have been dropped. Brown hasn't commented on the matter. In the meantime, the paint job on Brown's car reportedly cost about the same as the car itself.  It looks like producer Timbaland will have to apologize once again. After issuing an apology to rapper Jay Z for his behavior during the recording of "The Blueprint 3", he may  have to issue an additional apology for comments he made regarding the Drake/J. Cole collaboration. Meanwhile, Drake took to his web site to announce that his verse on the song was removed and issued an apology for the offensive lyrics. J. Cole issued an apology as well for lyrics that offended the autistic community. Drake added that the matter has been a learning lesson for both artist. Some good news for both Chris Brown and Drake. A judge has  thrown out a $16 million dollar lawsuit stemming from a brawl between their entourages at New York City nightclub W.I.P. last June. The suit was filed by Entertainment Enterprises, which owes neighboring hot spot Greenhouse nightclub. The owners alleged that the incident inside W.I.P. resulted in damages to their finances and reputation. The judge disagreed, however, throwing out the suit and absolving both parties of any financial liability. Drake and Chris Brown's brawl spawned other lawsuits, among them NBA star Tony Parker, who was present at the time of the incident. W.I.P. moved to have  his suit dismissed. The recent dismissal comes with a series of upswings for Brown. Over the weekend, he handed out 1,000 pairs of Reebok sneakers to kids in Compton and released a new single called "Love More" from his forthcoming album "X" featuring Nicki Minaj. It looks like more entertainers will be joining singer Stevie Wonder in boycotting the state of Florida after the verdict in  George Zimmerman trial. Wale, Usher, along with Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, The Rolling Stones and many more have reportedly vowed to not perform in the state or any other that has a Stand Your Ground law in effect. It looks like rapper/producer Jermaine Dupri  will have to hand over cash for a Lamborghini he's apparently missed a few payments on. The dealership will have to wait in line, however. Dupri owes a huge IRS debt that he has yet to pay. Stay tuned. Actor/comedian Kevin Hart is being sued by a nightclub that claims he skipped out on a gig. Hart was set to host an event at the club, but reportedly nixed the idea in favor of hosting another. The club is seeking damages. Singer Beyoncé had something special planned for fans on the Detroit stop of her Mrs. Carter World Tour. She added the late Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come" to her set. Although rich in history, the city of Detroit has amassed a $18 billion debt, which led to a recent bankruptcy filing, make it the largest U.S city to do so. Thus, Mrs. Carter's rendition of the 1963 classic was right on time. She was flanked by images of Aretha Franklin, Eminem, Kid Rock and other Detroit natives who've contributed to the city's rich musical history. The song choice was also fitting in light of the recent discussions regarding race brought forward by the killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Cooke penned "A Change Is Gonna Come" in response to the racial inequality felt strongly in the south. The song later became a representation of the Civil Rights Movement. During a previous show, Beyoncé held a moment of silence for the slain teenager. Similarly, Mr. Carter, aka Jay Z, also used the stage to honor Martin. He and  his Legends of Summer Tour partner Justin Timberlake dedicated "Forever Young" to Martin during their show at Yankee Stadium on July 19. The following day he and Beyoncé stood by Martin's mother Sabrina at one of 100 rallies held nationwide. On DVD: "42" and "Evil Dead".
