Monday Madness
The screen version of the classic, "A Christmas Carol" topped the weekend box office taking in 31 million dollars. "Michael Jackson's This Is It", "The Men Who Stare At Goats", "The Fouth Kind", and "Paranormal Activity" round out the top five films of the week. Actress/comedian Wanda Sykes debuted her new talk show recently. The show airs on Fox on Saturdays at 11:00 p.m.. Once again, persistant rumors insist that producer Jermaine Dupri and singer Janet Jackson are in the middle of planning a wedding. Dupri recently told People magazine that he's heard the rumors before. "They've been saying that for years", he said. "You don't see a ring on my finger". Singer Rihanna is preparing to hit the road for a concert to take place in London. There is speculation whether talk show host Oprah Winfrey will either take her daytime talk show to Los Angeles or to her own cable network. No word on a decision yet. On the tube: "House" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, "Dancing With The Stars" on ABC, and "Heroes" on NBC. Happy Monday!
