Monday Madness
The film "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" topped the weekend box office taking in an estimated 140.7 million dollars. "The Blind Side" came in a distant second. The "American Music Awards" aired last night with Jay Z, Taylor Swift, Green Day, Keith Urban and the late Michael Jackson being big winners. Some of the hottest performances of the evening were from Jay Z and Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige. The most controversial performance came from "American Idol" runner up Adam Lambert. The singer simulated a sex act with both males and females on the stage with him. I'm betting money that the FCC will fine the network, just as the network was fined for the Janet Jackson incident. While I'm no prude, and found Mr Lambert a bit on the flamboyant side when he was a "American Idol" contestant, I just don't think a performance of that nature is appropiate for prime time televison. Just my opinion.
