Thursday Dish

The female contestants took the stage on last night's "American Idol" after a health scare for one. The evening went from fabulous for some to  just plain horrible for others. Tonight viewers will decide who stays and who goes home. Rapper Lil Wayne may get at least five more days of freedom. After a fire at a Lower Manhattan courthouse postponed the rapper's sentencing, his legal reps are now saying that he may not be sentenced until next week. His sentence for a gulity plea to a gun possession charge was to start originally on February 9, but was delayed due to last minute and extensive dental work and was granted an extension to get the work completed. The rapper is slated to serve a 8 to 10 month sentence in Rikers Island NYC. In more music news, rapper Guru of Gang Star is recovering from successful heart surgery after suffering a heart attack this past weekend.  The rapper says he is doing well and appreciates all the well wishes. Just three more days until the Academy Awards and co-hosts Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin have been rehearsing for the upcoming show, which is sure to be spactacular. It will be interesting to see who the big winners will be. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "Survivor: Heroes vs Villains" on CBS, "Grey's Anatomy" on ABC and "Community" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
