Actor Gary Coleman is in a Utah hospital after suffering a intracranial hemorrhage at his home, his family said. The actor is currently on life support and the family thanks the fans for their love and support at this time. Singer Alicia Keys and producer Swizz Beatz have confirmed that they are in fact engaged and are expecting as well. Congradulations to the two. Rapper Gucci Mane will make his first televison appearance since being released from prison on BET's "106 & Park". In addition to performing his hit "Lemonade" and sitting down with Rocsi and Terrence for an interview, the rapper will also premiere his new video as well. In more BET news, the cable network has banned the video for singer Ciara's latest single, "Ride", saying the video is too risque. The singer has stated that she will shoot another video, if the network plays it. Rapper Kanye West will join Pitbull, Cyress Hill and others in protesting the recently passed immigration law in Arizona. It's been compared to the Montgomery bus boycott of the 1960's. Rumors are swirling that singer Mariah Carey has pulled out of the latest Tyler Perry film due to pregnancy. There's been no confirmation or denial from the singer's camp regarding the rumor. In theaters this weekend: "Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time" and "Sex And The City 2". Thursday Dish

Lee DeWyze was voted the winner on "American Idol' last night. It was an exciting night filled with performances from Alice Cooper, Chris Allen, Janet Jackson, Christina Agullera, Hall & Oates, Chicago and Michael McDonald, among others. Former "Idol" judge Paula Abdul also appeared and although she didn't perform, she did say a few kind words to departing judge Simon Cowell. Paula Abdul has a new dance show in the works as well. No word on when the show will air. Rapper 50 Cent has lost 54 pounds in preparation for his role as a football star battling cancer in the film "Things Fall Apart". No word on when the film will hit theaters. In other 50 news, the G Unit general is teaming up with VH1 to film a documentary tracing his roots called "50's Roots". He will trace his roots on camera with the help of an aunt, Gladys Simpkins. No word on when the documentary will air. Stay tuned. Singer Rihanna has filed a counter suit against her former personal trainer, Cindy Percival. Pericval filed suit against the Def Jam star claiming that she failed to pay fees and expenses totaling a whopping $26,144. Rihanna has countersuied claiming that she fronted the trainer the large cash amount for her services. But when the two servered ties late last year, Rihanna says Percival never returned the cash. Wednesday Roundup

The top two contestants took the stage for viewer votes on last night's "American Idol" and be sure to catch tonight's results show. In addition to crowing the winner of the competition, Paula Abdul and others are slated to appear as well. Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger shimmied away with the mirror ball trophy on "Dancing With The Stars".  It was an exciting season, to say the least. No word on when the next season will air. Be sure to catch the televison premiere of "Are We There Yet?", based on the film of the same name. It will air on TBS on June 2 and is executive produced by rapper/actor Ice Cube. Former drug king pin Freeway Ricky Ross is suing rapper Rick Ross for using his name to obtain a multimillion dollar recording contract in 2006. He has sent a cease and desist letter to Def Jam Records and it remains to be seen how the matter is going to play itself out. Stay tuned. Lauryn Hill will not headline the "Rock The Bells Tour" as previously reported. Wu Tang Clan and Rakim are among the artists slated to appear on the show, however. After judging singers on "American Idol", Ellen DeGeneres is preparing to start her own label. She announced on her talk show that she will start a label called eleveneleven and the first act signed will be Greyson Chance. He became a YouTube sensation with a piano version of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi". The label was started with Telepictures Productions. The viewer votes will be revealed on tonight's "Dancing With The Stars". We'll see who walks away with the mirror ball trophy soon. The season finale of Fox's "24" has left room for speculation regarding whether a film version of the hit series will be made. Stay tuned. Reportedly, there is a Destiny's Child reunion in the works. Matthew Knowles, manager of the group and father of Beyonce Knowles, has reached out to former members of the group LeToya Luckett and Latavia Roberson and we'll see what develops. Former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight posted bail after being arrested for assult with a deadly weapon. Still no comment from the mogul's camp regarding the matter. Monday Memo

"Shrek Forever After" is the box office king this week after taking in over 71 million dollars. "Iron Man 2", "Robin Hood", "Letters To Juliet" and "Just Wright" round out the top five films of the week. Be sure to catch the finales of "24" and "Dancing With The Stars", as both shows will have something to keep viewers glued to their seats. In other televison news, after 28 seasons "Law & Order" is hanging up it's badge. You can still catch the spin offs "Law & Order: SVU" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent", however. Former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland has inked a new deal with Universial/Motown Records. No word on when her first project for the label will be released. Rapper Lil Kim has signed a deal with Jay Z's Rock Nation and Jay Z will executive produce the rapper's debut project. No word on when it will be released. Rapper Wale has been called homophobic for backing out of a gay pride event in his hometown Washington DC. A rep for the rapper stated that he had to pull out due to an extensive tour and also wanted to work on his sophomore project and spend time with his family. Wale has not commented on the matter. Sad news out of Hollywood. The husband of actress Brittany Murphy was found dead in his home last night. The cause of death has not been determined. This happened six months after Ms Murphy's death. Death Row Records mogul Suge Knight was arrested in Los Angeles for unspecified reasons. Knight's car was swarmed by police and the former ceo was taken in to custody. Knight was named a suspect in a 2009 armed robbery of R&B/Hip Hop producer Noel "Detail" Fisher. Stay tuned as the story develops. Be sure to catch the season finale of ABC's "Lost" on Sunday. The episode is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. In other televison news, Sean "Diddy" Combs says he'd like to replace Simon Cowell on Fox's "American Idol" when he leaves the show at the end of the season. Although Diddy has long been rumored to be considered for the gig, there's been no word from Fox on a final decision. Singer/actress Vanessa Williams will join the cast on ABC's "Desperate Housewives". No word on when she will start filming the show. Fans of rapper Drake will be happy to know that he's extended his "Away From Home Tour". The tour will include a few overseas dates. Catch him when he comes to your area. The stars were out in full force at the premiere of "Shrek Forever After", the  latest and last in the film franchise. It looks to be a pure delight for children and adults as well. Casey James was eliminated on last night's "American Idol", bringing the series finale down to Crystal Bowersox and Lee DeWyze. The two will square off next week for the coveted grand prize, which will be a recording contract. In other televison news, VH1 will begin airing the new season of "VH1"s Behind The Music" beginning June 7. Among the subjects profiled on the show will be: DMX and Mile Cyrus, among others. Networks also have several new shows ready to air as well. Among the new jacks to hit the small screen will be: the remake of the 1970's hit, "Hawaii 5.0" and "$ My Dad Says". It remains to be seen which shows will cut the mustard.  Time will tell. Sean "Diddy" Combs reportedly is the number one replacement choice for "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell. No word on whether the rumor mill is true or false, we'll have to stay tuned as the story develops. Funny man Conan O'Brien says he's not sweating his new gig at TBS, saying he's put together plenty of material for his upcoming new show. The comic has been touring the country and his new shows airs on TBS four nights a week at 11 pm starting in November. Talib Kweli & Hi Tek have released a new CD, "Revolutions Per Minute", the long awaited follow up to their debut, "Train Of Thought". The pair say the key to getting the new project done was commitment from both, as they each had individual success. She's says the rumor is not true. The BET awards were announced yesterday and Drake, Nicki Minaj and Jay Z lead the pack in nominations. Others nominees are: Beyonce, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Melanie Fiona and Trey Songz, to name a few. Queen Latifah will host the show. Be sure to see "Prince Of Persia" when the film  hits theaters.  It appears to be a film that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats. Rocker Brett Michaels will appear on the "Oprah Winfrey Show" this afternoon, detailing his recent  health scare. Jamacian officals are not too pleased with the clip for rapper Drake's latest single, "Find Your Love". The clip reportedly shows the rapper being shot by a Jamaican drug cartel. Great way to boost tourism in the country. Rapper Kanye West's latest CD, which was to be released next month, has now been pushed back to September. Rapper Game's latest CD has been pushed back as well. The CD reportedly called R.E.D., has been pushed back to July 6. It was to originally slated to go toe to toe with Drake's debut, "Thank Me Later" on June 29, and now the project has been pushed back. The first single from the release, "Ain't No Doubt About It" features Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake. The project will now go head to head with Def Jam's latest signee Big Boi's debut "Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty" on July 6. Game's project will be executive produced by Dr Dre and Pharrell Williams. Be sure to catch the "Dancing With The Stars" results show tonight to learn who goes home this week. "American Idol" airs tonight as well. This week, the contestants will return to their hometowns. The results show will air on Wednesday. Be sure to see "The Karate Kid" when it hits theaters. Monday Memo

"Iron Man 2" topped the box office for the second week in a row, earning over 53 million dollars. That brings the cumulative gross to over 200 million dollars. "Robin Hood", "Letters To Juliet", "Just Wright" and "How To Train Your Dragon" round out the top five films of the week. The cable network HBO has a film about the Kennedy family in the works. No word on when the film will air. The competition is getting down to the wire on "Dancing With The Stars" as the final four couples dance for votes tonight. Be sure to catch the results show on Tuesday. The three remaining contestants return to their hometowns on "American Idol" tomorrow night. They'll also sing for viewer votes as well. In more "American Idol" news, former "Idol" judge Paula Abdul is reportedly in talks with Simon Cowell regarding judging on his UK hit "X Factor". Reportedly Ms Abdul wants 3 million for the job. Blogger Perez Hilton has said he'll do the job for free. The film "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" and it's cast were a hit at the Cannes Film Festival held in Cannes France. The film opens in the US on Sep 24.  Sean "Diddy" Combs has decided to not throw a all white party this year. He will reportedly team up with rapper Eminem to host a color party. Don't expect to see pioneering Houston rapper Scarface on "VH1 Hip Hop Honors".  The MC recently stated that he feels the cable network disrespects southern artists. No comment from the network on the rappers comments. Rapper Lil Wayne may now have to serve more time for a contraband infraction. The rapper was caught with a mp3 charger and earphones in his cell. It was recently revealed that the rapper may have to go on trial before a captian and correctional officer within 48 hours of the incident. He may also lose his job as a suicide prevention aide due to the infraction as well. There has been no word on whether a trial has taken place. Rapper Jay Z is set to unveil a new line of headphones called Rock Nation in partnership with Scullcandy. The headphones are designed to give platinum sound performance and come equipped with a 40mm enhanced audio driver. The headphones will hit the market this June. Basketball star Carmello Anthony and his fiance LaLa Vasquez have inked a deal to star in a reality series documenting their July nupitals. No word on who has picked the series up and when it will  air. Be sure to see "Just Wright", the romantic comedy starring Common and Queen Latifah. It's a film that viewers will love. Michael Lynch was eliminated on last night's "American Idol" bringing the contestant pool down to three. The top three will take the stage next Tuesday evening. Fox has a new cop show that will air on May 19 before settling into it's summer Monday time slot on June 7. The show, titled "Good Guys", won't be you're typical buddy cop drama. The show, according to the two stars, will be injected with a little humor to go along with the action. Try mixing up "Starsky & Hutch"or "Chips" or "TJ Hooker" with the humor of "Get Shorty" or "Pulp Fiction" and you get an idea of what is in store for viewers. Bradley Whitford and Colin Hanks star in the new series. Be sure to tune in when it premieres. Rappers Jay Z and Eminem announced yesterday that the two will headline two concerts in their perspective hometowns. Slim Shady will headline Comerica Park in Detroit on September 2, while Hova will headline Yankee Stadium on September 13. Tickets for both shows go on sale at Ticketmaster on June 12. In more Slim Shady news, his latest single, "Not Afraid" is slated to hit number 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles charts. The song has also garnered over 380,000 digital downloads, the most for a digital track in 2010. "Not Afraid" is the sixteenth single to reach the top of Billboard's singles charts in 52 years. Brittany Spears's "3" was the last single to accomplish the feet in October 2009. Along with Sean "Diddy" Combs "Ill Be Missing You' featuring Faith Evans and 112 "Not Afraid" is the only other rap single to top Billboard's charts. It was movie night on "American Idol" with actor/singer Jamie Fox mentoring the final four contestants. Be sure to tune in to tonight's results show to  see who goes home. Tonight's show will include live performances from Fantashia, Doughtery and Bon Jovi. Niecy Nash was sent home on last night's "Dancing With The Stars". Rapper Gucci Mane was released from prison today. You'll recall that the rapper was sent back to prison for violating his probation. Rapper Lil Wayne was reportedly caught in Riker's Island with music contraband. The rapper was caught with a charger  for a mp3 player and earphones. An officer was given a heads up by another inmate. The items were confiscated and authorities are now investigating how the items got into the rapper's cell. Will Smith and the director of the two previous "Men In Black" films have signed on to do a third. No word on when filming will begin or when the film will be released. Singer Alicia Keys will unveil the video for "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)" on 106 & Park today. The singer was originally slated to release  a clip for "Put It In A Love Song", her duet with Beyonce, but the clip was never released for unspecified reasons. Scenes for the video were shot in February. "General Hospital" has earned 18 Daytime Emmy Award nominations, it was announced today. "As The World Turns", which has been cancelled by CBS, has thirteen. "The Young & The Restless" has 16. The Daytime Emmy Awards will air from Las Vegas on June 27. The final five contestants danced for votes on last night's "Dancing With The Stars" and be sure to catch tonight's results show to see who goes home. The final four contestants will perform for viewer votes on "American Idol" tonight. So far,  Michael Lynch looks like a real contender for the conveted grand prize. We'll see what happens the remainder of the season. New York's Apollo Theater will install it's own walk of fame, it announced today. It will honor Michael Jackson and James Brown with the walks first plaques. Smokey Robinson, Aretha Franklin and Ella Fitzgerald will also be honored by the theater. Jackson and Brown will have their plaques installed next month. Former supermodel and talk show host Tyra Banks has signed a three book deal with Delacorte Press for a fantasy series for young people. The series is about a young girl trying to keep up with the beauty game in an elite school for models or intoxibellas. The first novel,"Modelland" will be released in summer 2011. Country music starlet Taylor Swift will receive the Hal David Starlight Award at the Songwriters Hall Of Fame Awards on June 17, it was announced today. The awards show will take place in New York City. The singer has penned every song on both of her mulitplatinum cds. Phil Collins and producer Phil Ramone will also receive honors at the show. Singer Bobby Brown has reportedly gotten engaged to his current girlfriend. No word on a wedding date. Congradulations to the two of them. On dvd: "Edge Of Darkness" and "Hell On Earth". "Iron Man 2" slaughtered the competition at the box office earning over 133 million dollars over the weekend. "A Nightmare On Elm Street", "How To Train Your Dragon", "Date Night" and "The Back Up Plan" all round out the top five films of the week. An Arizona judge has denied a request to have rapper DMX appear on "Celebrity Rehab". According to the judge, the rapper has been doing well in a court ordered rehabilitation program. With the release of his latest single "Forever Young" featuring Mr Hudson,  rapper Jay Z has broken the record for the most singles in  Billboard's top ten previously held by Ludacris. The single makes Hova's 17th single to hit Billboard while Ludacris has 16. Ludacris still holds the record for the most #1 singles on Billboard with five. His latest single, "My Chick Bad" from his "Battle Of The Sexes" cd is still  holding strong at #11, keeping him in the race. Sad news out of Hollywood. Singer/actress Lena Horne has passed away. She was 92. The actress/singer died at New York Presbyterian Hospital, according to spokeswoman Gloria Chin. No other details were given. The actress got her start as a dancer at Harlem's legendary Cotton Club and went on to appear in movies and on Broadway. One of her most famous roles was as Selina Rogers in "Stormy Weather". The title song became her signature piece. She was also the first Black actress to sign with MGM. She was also a imcomperable blues and jazz singer who captivated audiences all over the world. She has left a tremendous legacy that will live on. May she rest in peace.

Sean "Diddy" Combs set the record straight regarding the rumors the he is the manager of both Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross by saying that people shouldn't believe what they hear. They are cool. He did admit that he has an announcement to make, but there's no word on what the annuouncement is regarding. Rapper Rick Ross recently denied rumors that he was robbed for his chain while visiting Los Angeles. He told Spliff TV that he was not in Los Angeles and that someone on Twitter started the rumor. He did reveal that he plans to release a mixtape/EP with DJ Smallz  titled "Albert Anatasia" prior to releasing his next cd, "Teflon Don". He also has  plans to tour with Sean "Diddy" Combs. Be sure to catch "Friday Night Lights" as the show begins it's stint on NBC, as many changes have taken place since it's last airing. "The Pacific" also has a lot in store for viewers as well. "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes set the record straight on "The Wendy Williams Show" regarding her son's recent arrest and marital problems. Aaron Kelly was eliminated from "American Idol" last night, bringing the contestant pool to four. Last night's results show also included live performances from Lady Gaga and Harry Connick Jr. Be sure to tune in to the season finale of "30 Rock" on NBC, as Liz Lemon sees three weddings she will attend. She stops just short of saying that she believes Matt Damon is the man of her dreams. After serving seven months of a one year sentence for probation violation, rapper Gucci Mane will reportedly be released on May 12. As reported previously, the rapper has formed his own record label 1017 Brick Squad Records which will house material from himself, Wacka Flocka Flame and OJ Da Juiceman. He also fired his management team, Icy/Mizay Entertainment, which is owned by Wacka's mother. In other music news, rapper Black Rob has been released from prison after serving a seven year sentence for failing show for a previous sentence hearing for  a grand larceny charge. The rapper stated he feels Sean "Diddy" Combs turned his back on him, but has no plans to record any diss tracks. No word on the rapper's label status. It was Sanatra night on "American Idol" last night, with jazz great Harry Connick Jr mentoring the contestants during the show. By far the best performances of the evening came from Michael Lynch and Lee DeWyse. Be sure to tune in to tonight's results show to see who goes home. Harry Connick Jr and Lady Gaga will take the stage for live performances. Pamela Anderson was sent home on last night's "Dancing With The Stars". Be sure to tune in next week to see who goes home next and who takes home the mirror ball trophy. Bobby Brown, Christopher Williams and Al B. Sure! will be touring together on the "Secret Garden Tour" beginning May 8. This is the first time the trio has toured together and it should be an exciting show. Be sure to catch them when they appear in your area. Rapper Gucci Mane has fired his managers and started his own label after  his managers accepted advanced money for shows the rapper couldn't  make due to probation violation. At press time, the rapper will release music under his 1017 Brick Squad imprint with First Avenue Management and booking agency CAA. He's also slated to perform at Hot 97's annual Summer Jam concert on June 6. There is no release date for the rapper , however. Reportedly there is a movie in the works detailing the raise and fall of West Coast rap group N.W.A. No word on when filming will begin or who has been cast. As reported previously, both "Lost" and "24" are rapping up their seasons with edge of your seats episodes you must see. Here's hoping someone will release all seasons of both shows on dvd. Singer Keyshia Cole has postponed her upcoming wedding to Cleveland Cavalier player Daniel Gibson. No word on the reason for the delay. The two recently became parents of a baby boy, Daniel Gibson, Jr. Be sure to check out "Just Wright" starring Queen Latifah and Common when the film hits theaters on May 14. It's a romantic comedy that is sure to delight viewers everywhere. Former "American Idol" contestant Anoop Desai has new music in stores this week. On dvd: "Nine" and "Saving Private Ryan". Monday Memo

"A Nightmare On Elm Street" took the top spot at the box office over the weekend taking in over 32 million dollars. "How To Train Your Dragon", "Date Night", "The Back Up Plan" and "Furry Vengeance" round out the top five films of the week. Kiefer Sutherland and the rest of the cast of the hit show "24" rapped up the season with a finale party. In it's eight year run the show has seen several marriages and several children being born. The final episode airs May 24. As reported previously, comic Conan O'Brien sat down for an interview with "60 Minutes" last night, detailing the split from the "Tonight Show" and his new show which will air on TBS. The comic also hit the road for a series of stand up performances. Last night's interview was the first for the funnyman since leaving NBC. Country sensation Taylor Swift has been named the new face of Cover Girl. The spots will air in January. Sad news to report out of the world of hip hop. Michael Johnson, a relative of Grammy winning rapper Nelly, was shot and killed in St Louis on Wednesday while arriving at or leaving a home. There are no motives or suspects in the case.
