Michael Lynch was eliminated on last night's "American Idol" bringing the contestant pool down to three. The top three will take the stage next Tuesday evening. Fox has a new cop show that will air on May 19 before settling into it's summer Monday time slot on June 7. The show, titled "Good Guys", won't be you're typical buddy cop drama. The show, according to the two stars, will be injected with a little humor to go along with the action. Try mixing up "Starsky & Hutch"or "Chips" or "TJ Hooker" with the humor of "Get Shorty" or "Pulp Fiction" and you get an idea of what is in store for viewers. Bradley Whitford and Colin Hanks star in the new series. Be sure to tune in when it premieres. Rappers Jay Z and Eminem announced yesterday that the two will headline two concerts in their perspective hometowns. Slim Shady will headline Comerica Park in Detroit on September 2, while Hova will headline Yankee Stadium on September 13. Tickets for both shows go on sale at Ticketmaster on June 12. In more Slim Shady news, his latest single, "Not Afraid" is slated to hit number 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles charts. The song has also garnered over 380,000 digital downloads, the most for a digital track in 2010. "Not Afraid" is the sixteenth single to reach the top of Billboard's singles charts in 52 years. Brittany Spears's "3" was the last single to accomplish the feet in October 2009. Along with Sean "Diddy" Combs "Ill Be Missing You' featuring Faith Evans and 112 "Not Afraid" is the only other rap single to top Billboard's charts. Eminem's next cd, "Recovery" will be released on June 22. On the tube: "Bones" on Fox, "Survivor: Heroes Vs Villains" on CBS, "Flashforward" on ABC and "Community" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
