Monday Memo
"Iron Man 2" topped the box office for the second week in a row, earning over 53 million dollars. That brings the cumulative gross to over 200 million dollars. "Robin Hood", "Letters To Juliet", "Just Wright" and "How To Train Your Dragon" round out the top five films of the week. The cable network HBO has a film about the Kennedy family in the works. No word on when the film will air. The competition is getting down to the wire on "Dancing With The Stars" as the final four couples dance for votes tonight. Be sure to catch the results show on Tuesday. The three remaining contestants return to their hometowns on "American Idol" tomorrow night. They'll also sing for viewer votes as well. In more "American Idol" news, former "Idol" judge Paula Abdul is reportedly in talks with Simon Cowell regarding judging on his UK hit "X Factor". Reportedly Ms Abdul wants 3 million for the job. Blogger Perez Hilton has said he'll do the job for free. The film "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" and it's cast were a hit at the Cannes Film Festival held in Cannes France. The film opens in the US on Sep 24. Sean "Diddy" Combs has decided to not throw a all white party this year. He will reportedly team up with rapper Eminem to host a color party. No word on when the party will be held. On the tube: "House" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, "Dancing With The Stars" on ABC and "Chuck" on NBC. Happy Monday!
