Thursday Dish
Those wanting a copy of Sean "Diddy" Combs next CD will have to wait until September 20 to get it. The release date of the disk has been pushed back from June 28, one day after the 2010 BET Awards, where he will perform with his Dirty Money crew. Three singles have been released from the project, all with visuals. The latest single is "Hello, Good Morning" featuring T.I. and Rick Ross. Nick Minaj, who is rumored to be one of his clients under his Bad Boy Management umbrella, will appear on the remix for the single, which will be released in the coming weeks. No reasons for the push back have been given, although several singles have been leaked prematurely. A recent appearance by rapper Drake had to be cancelled due to the overwhelming response of fans. Organizers expected 10,000 to show up but 20,000 actually showed for the event. "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi says the replacement for Simon Cowell on the Fox hit shouldn't try to be a carbon copy of the former judge. She says jazz great Harry Connick Jr would make a great replacement. Only time will tell. It appears that the cable networks are tweaking their brands and expanding their primetime lineups. One example would be the channel Discovery Kids becoming a hub in October under a partnership deal with toy maker Hasbro. Yesterday marked the 50th anniversary of the Alfred Hitchcock classic "Psycho". The film is one of the most eternal and changed films forever. On the tube: "Glee" on Fox, "The Mentalist" on CBS, "Better Off Ted" on ABC and "Community" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
