It looks like rapper Lil Wayne has finally caught a break afterall. The incarerated rapper has been sentenced to three years probation in Arizona for a drug possession charge. The New Orleans MC dodged jail time in an Arizona prison by striking a plea deal in a gun case steming from an arrest at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint back in 2008. Lil Wayne, who's given name is Dwayne Carter, was in court via video conferencing from New York where he's currently serving an eight month sentence after pleading guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. He will serve his probation when his eight month sentence is complete. In more music news, rapper Game's next release has been pushed back yet again. No word on when the cd will be released. Actress Meryl Streep has expressed an interest in portraying former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in a film about Britain's first female prime minister. Pathe Films, a London based film producer and distributor, is in talks with Streep's repesentatives, but no agreement has been reached yet. The film is set to start at the end of the year. The competition is heating up on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" and it's appears that there are several contenders for the grand prize. Be sure to tune in.
