Rapper Lil Wayne while serving time in Riker's Island, wrote a letter to fans congradulating his Young Money protoges Nicki Minaj and Drake on their recent success. He's says the two may have him retire before the age of 30. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj has announced that the release date for her debut project will be November 23. No name for the project has been determined yet. Rapper Eminem's latest release "Recovery" remains in the number one spot on the charts for the third week in row. This surpasses his last release "Relapse". Actor Ryan Reynolds will star in next summer's highly anticipated film "Green Lantern". Entertainment Weekly magazine will be taking a behind the scenes look at the filming of the flick. Be sure to pick up a copy on newsstands next week. The guys are heating up the competition on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance", although it remains to be seen who will walk away with the grand prize. Be sure to tune in. Singer Janet Jackson graces the cover of the latest issue of Essence magazine.
