Wednesday Roundup
Singer Keyshia Cole and rapper Nicki Ninaj were to record a song together recently when a cat fight began. Reportedly, a male friend of Nicki's made a not so kind remark to Keyshia Cole, Ms Cole promptly let the gentleman know the remark was not appreciated and then Nicki got involved. No blows were exchanged, just words. It's a shame the ladies could not get along. In lighter news, for the third time in five years rapper Jay Z has topped Forbes magazine's Cash Kings list. Hov earned 63 million dollars in the past year. His earnings come from his investments in his 40/40 chain, his Fela Broadway play and his "Blueprint 3" album and tour. Sean "Diddy" Combs came in second place, earning 30 million. Singer Akon and rapper Lil Wayne followed close behind. Singers Usher and Chris Brown are slated to tour together. It should be a wonderful show, so catch them when they appear in your area. The Emmy Awards are still a few weeks away and Hollywood is, no doubt, still brewing with excitment. "Glee" is among the top nominees. Be sure to tune in to see who takes home the gold statue. The show will air on August 27. Actor Michael Douglas is currently being treated for a tumor on his throat. The Oscar winner will undergo chemo and radiation treatment and expects to make a full recovery. On the tube: "Masterchef" on Fox, "Big Brother 12" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Minute To Win It" on NBC. Happy hump day!
