Friday Facts

Singer/songwriter Lyfe Jennings will serve a three year prison sentence for an incident where the singer kicked in the door of the mother of his children, fired a weapon into the street and lead police on a high speed chase. Here's praying that the star will get his life back on track after the sentence has been served. Just when rumors surfaced that she would be taking a break during 2010, it appears that singer Beyonce will release a new album sooner that anticipated and the first single should be released in three weeks. According to the New York Post, Beyonce will work with The Dream and Tricky Stewart, the same producers who crafted the smash "Single Ladies" from the multi-platinum "I am: Sasha Fierce".  Los Da Mystro broke the news via Twitter. No release date for the project has been announced, however. If you suspected that you heard UGK member Bun B on rapper Drake's "Miss Me", you'd be correct. The Texas born and bread rapper recorded a verse over the track, but didn't request it remain before relinquishing it to Drake at his request. He says Drake is a talented artist and has yet to do his best work. Be sure to catch the premiere of CBS's "Blue Bloods". Tom Selleck heads an all star cast and the show is centered around a family with deep roots in law enforcement. The show airs tonight at 10 p.m. There's been some buzz created around the upcoming "Green Latern" film. The cast and director have been selected, although no release date for the film has been announced yet. In theaters this weekend: "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga' Hoole", "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" and "You Again". On the tube: "Human Target" on Fox, "Medium" on CBS, "Modern Family" on ABC and "Dateline NBC" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
