Eddie Franklin, son of singer Aretha Franklin, has been released from the hospital after being brutally attacked at a Detroit gas station. Reportedly, authorities are still waiting to talk with Mr Franklin regarding the incident. Stay tuned for more as this story develops. Just when it appeared to some that the two were at odds, rappers Kanye West and 50 Cent are set to tour Europe together. No tour dates and locations have been announced yet, however. Stay tuned. L.A. Reid, chairman of Island/Def Jam Records, responsible for the success of artists such as Usher, Mariah Carey, Outkast and Pink among others, has been fired from his post.
