Friday Facts

Some have some not so kind things to say about rapper T.I.'s recently talking a young man down from the roof of a Atlanta radio station. Some are calling the act a publicity stunt, which the MC denies. The reason for the criticism may be that the rapper reportedly had a crew with him at the time. He was filming a music video at the time, so that could have been the reason for the crew. At any rate, Atlanta police say they are happy the incident turned out the way it did. Fans of rapper Nicki Minaj will be happy to know that hip hop's it girl has pushed up the release date of her debut album from November 23 to Novmeber 22. She will go toe to toe with Jay Z and Kanye West, as they each have releases due on the same date. A career spanning video collection from Michael Jackson will be released soon. It will include all of the late superstar's groundbreaking videos. That should be a delight for any fan. No word on when it will be released. Last night's "Grey's Anatomy" episode was filled with patients with intense cases of heavy themes. There should be more of the same in store for fans as the season progresses. "Bones" and "The Big Bang Theory" both made a splash last night as well. They can both be seen on Thursday on Fox and CBS, respectively. Be sure to catch the new film "Insecure" when it hits your local cineplex. The film's plot is about a successful, but insecure man whose insecurity ruins his relationship. In theaters this weekend: "Conviction", "Jackass 3D" and "Red". On the tube: "House" on Fox, "Medium" on CBS, "No Ordinary Family" on ABC and "School Pride" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
