Wednesday Roundup
Reality star Kim Kardashian has added singer to her resume. She's currently in the studio working on an album with producer The Dream. At press time, the star is not signed to a record label. There's no word on when Kardashian will release the album. Rapper Gucci Mane was arrested in Atlanta on several traffic charges. The incident started when a off duty police officer saw a white Hummer driving erraticlly down Northside Drive. On duty officers were called and began searching for the Hummer and after finding the Hummer found Gucci arguing with another person. Police had to pepper spray the rapper to stop the altercation. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital to be examined before being taken into custody at the Fulton County Jail. He's facing driving on the wrong side of the road, running a red light or stop sign, damage to government property, obstruction, driving without a license, no proof of insurance and other traffic charges. This comes six months after he was released from jail for parole violation. Legendary producer/musician Quincy Jones recently stated to bet.com that a few of today's artist do inpress him, but the industry isn't the way is was when he began. He went on to say he came along during a time when making good music was a top priority over money and fame. How right he is. Last night's "NCIS: Los Angeles" was another action packed one and it will be interesting to see what's in store for the remainder of the season. On the tube: "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox, "Survivor: Nicaragua" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Undercovers" on NBC. Happy hump day!
