Friday Facts

The Game is over. In Canada anyway. As mentioned previously, The Game was detained by Canadian officials until his immigration status could be evaluated. He has now been banned from the country due to his ties to street gangs. He was in the country to  do a series of shows, and now it appears the shows won't happen at all. More details regarding the recent Coachella Music Festival, held over the weekend are coming in. Rumor has it that Rihanna and Usher were seen flirting with one another and even left together holding hands. Usher's girlfriend Grace was reportedly on hand as well, and Rihanna also flirted with Leonardo DiCaprio. Only time will tell if all the rumors are true or false. Rapper Jim Jones' girlfriend reportedly purposed to the Dip Set head haucho, the other problem was the rapper's  mother didn't approve. She was not made aware that the proposal was going to take place. It remains to be seen if there will be any wedding bells in the future for the couple. Dallas rapper Dorrough says he will release a documentary and song about the DEA. Earlier this year the rapper was arrested by DEA officials when they raided his home claiming he was involved in drug trafficking. He says he's decided to release a song and documentary detailing the incident, hoping to prove he was falsely accused and violated. He says law enforcement kicked in his door, threw a gun in his face, threw him to the ground and searched his home. He also says he has documents that claim the police were planning the raid for well over a year. Lil B probably expected a  little backlash when he announced the title of his next release would be "I"m Gay", but he probably didn't expect death threats. The rapper has been receiving unsettling comments from those not pleased with his choice of an album title. He announced the album title at the Coachella Music Festival. A release date for the album has not been confirmed. Stefano was given the boot on "American Idol" last night. The contestants performed songs from the 21st century during this weeks competition. In other "American Idol" news, judge Jennifer Lopez is working with "Idol" producer Simon Fuller on a Latino version of the hit Fox show. She and husband Mark Anthony will reportedly host the show, as they search for undiscovered vocal talent. The show is being shopped around to various  networks. It remains to be seen if Lopez will remain a judge on "Idol". Her contract is only for one season, but may be renewed. In theaters this weekend: "African Cats", "Tyler Perry's Medea's Big Happy Family" and "Water for Elephants". On the tube: "Kitchen Nightmares" on Fox, "CSI: New York" on CBS, "Shark Tank" on ABC and "Friday Night Lights" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
