It looks like the rumors of the reported beef between Kanye West and Jay Z may be true after all. 20 dates on their "Watch The Throne" tour have been cancelled with no explanation given for the cancellation. This after dates were added due to high demand. The "Watch The Throne" album will hit stores on August 8 and be available on iTunes on August 12. The tour will now begin on October 29 in Atlanta, and dates have been scaled back as well. There will now be only 17 stops on the tour. Singer/songwriter/producer The Dream is ready to hit the scene again. He's announced a free internet album called "1977" while fans wait patiently for his next release "Diary Of A Mad Man". The internet album will be released on August 31. There's been no word on the release date of "Diary Of A Mad Man". Former BET Music Matter alum K. Michelle stated in a recent interview that she's in a good place in her life at the present, despite dealing with the ups and downs of the music industry. She's witnessed several changes at her record label and is working on new music. She has a new video called "How Many Times" in rotation currently. There's no word on a tour, however. Rapper Waka Flacka Flame is the latest rapper to have a run in with the law. The rapper, along with a companion, was stopped for a routine traffic violation when they were searched. Less than an ounce of marijuana was found on the Atlanta rapper, so he was given a fine. Rocker Lenny Kravitz has recruited some big names in hip hop to help with his new album "Black And White America". He will collaborate with Jay Z on a song called "Boongie Drop" and with Drake on a song called "Sunflower". He says about the album that he goes wherever the music takes him. The album is slated for release on August 30. Actor Laurence Fishburn will play Daily Planet editor Perry White in "Man Of Steel", according to Entertainment Weekly. The casting answers the question of what Fishburn would do after leaving "CSI" after two seasons. Filming is set to begin this fall, and the film will hit theaters on June 14, 2013. The top six contestants take the stage tonight on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance". It's been a season full of surprises, and the contestants have been pulling out all the stops to earn the grand prize. A new episode of "Big Brother" airs tonight as well. On the tube: "So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox, "Big Brother" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Minute To Win It" on NBC. Happy hump day!
