Wednesday Roundup

Rumors are surfacing that rapper/actor Bow Wow is broke. His vehicle has been repossessed. The good news is that he's been added to the line of the F.A.M.E. tour, so things could change. A woman is suing rapper 50 Cent, claiming she was assaulted by a member of the rapper's entourage. The woman has filed paper work, and states that 50 didn't do a background check on the man in question before hiring him. Several artists have new music coming soon. Rihanna tweeted that her new single will be released to today, and Mary J. Blige's next project will be released in November. The season premiere of "Two And A Half Men" made a big splash as it attracted over 20 million viewers. The judge presiding over the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray will allow footage of the press conference for Michael Jackson's This Is It tour to be shown in court during the doctor's trial to show that the singer was deteriorating at the point the conference was held. Dr Murray will stand trial for manslaughter in the singer's death.  While admitting that his last album, "Libra Scales", "went over people's heads",  singer/songwriter Ne-Yo promises to go back to basics with his next project. In full recording studio mode, in a recent interview the singer said the new music is music to vibe to. He also stated that he won't go the mixtape route others have. He doesn't feel that's his lane.  His next as yet untitled album is slated for a early 2012 release. Through multiple delays,  threats of cancellations and squabbles with his record label, Interscope Records, rapper 50 Cent has completed his fifth and still untitled studio album. For months the G-Unit general has had a very public dispute with Interscope Records over the promotion and release of the project, at times he even threatened to not deliver the album, which is his last contractual release with the label. He says it's a matter of everyone being on deck at the same time to move at the same pace. The album is scheduled for a November release. On the tube: "X Factor" on Fox, ""Survivor: South Pacific" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Up All Night" on NBC. Happy hump day!
