Friday Facts
Rapper T.I. continues to make waves in the industry. The MC revealed that he has a reality show scheduled to air on VH1 called "Family Hustle" on December 5. The show will follow the rapper as he gets his life and career back on track. The show should be well worth tuning in for fans. Ludacris took to Twitter to clear up rumors he was asked to write a rhyme for teen sensation Justin Bieber for the BET Hip Hop awards cypher. He stated he was not asked to write anything for the teen star, despite what the rumor mill says. Rapper Soulja Boy took to his Twitter account to apologize to fans for his recent brush with the law. As some may know, the rapper was arrested and charged with drug possession and spent some time in jail before posting bail. When he was released, thousands waiting outside the jail for him and wished him well. Now, it appears that someone in the rapper's camp may take the rap for a additional gun charge, although some seem to think the arrest was a publicity stunt. We'll have to wait and see what happens with that. Anyone who thinks lightening can't strike the same place twice hasn't met Lil Wayne. Having topped the charts with the latest installment of his Carter series, "Tha Carter 4", the New Orleans superstar is currently working on follow-ups to both 2009's "I Am Not A Human Being" and 2010's "Rebirth". Mack Maine, president of Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment, stated in a recent interview that the rapper will get an opportunity to showcase his versatility on each of the projects. He went on to say that wins audiences over and that's how the rapper sells out shows each night. It must be fun to be Lil Wayne. Although he's left The Inc. Records for Interscope, R&B crooner Lloyd assures he bears no ill will toward anyone. During a recent interview, the singer responded to remarks made by The Inc CEO Irv Gotti by saying he has no problems with anyone and Gotti's comments won't dictate his future. His latest album, "King Of Hearts", was released in July. It's good to see he's being adult about the whole matter. Another week of competition has wrapped for "Dancing With The Stars" and "The X Factor" and it remains to be seen who will win both competitions. Be sure to tune in. The shows have gotten off to a great start. In theaters this weekend: "Paranormal Activity 3", "Johnny English Reborn" and "The Three Musketeers". On the tube: "Kitchen Nightmares" on Fox, "A Gifted Man" on CBS, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" on ABC and "The Office" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
