Thursday Dish

According to Star magazine, Will Smith's friendship with actor Duane Martin is the reason for the trouble in the Smith marriage. Reportedly, Will spends more time with Duane than he does with his wife and kids, and he and Duane have been spotted hanging out together. There's been no comment from Smith or his representatives on the Star magazine story. Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina has inherited her mother's entire $20 million fortune. The money will be put in a trust, with the first payout being distributed when she is 21. An interview with the 19-year-old, to be conducted by Oprah Winfrey, will air on Sunday. In other Whitney Houston news, Essence magazine pays tribute to the late pop icon by making her their cover subject. The magazine is filled with photos, and interview with the singer's cousin, Dionne Warwick and tributes from those who knew Houston best. The April issue of Essence magazine is on newsstands now.  It appears that the Royal Family is none to pleased with Kanye West. The Chicago rapper along with Big Sean and Common, visited London recently and booked a hotel near Buckingham Palace. The royals eventually began complaining about loud  music coming from the room West and company stayed in. Big Sean addressed the matter in an interview with The Sun saying they were playing music, but didn't indicate anything else went on. Hopefully, things have now quieted down. Be sure to catch the new Eddie Murphy film "A Thousand Words" when it hits theaters this weekend. The film is a comedy that seems to capture Murphy in his element more than any other film recently. It's sure to be a hit. The top finalists got off to a strong start on Fox's "American Idol" last night. The female contestants sang Whitney Houston songs, while the male contestants sang Stevie Wonder songs. So far, 16-year-old Jessica Sanchez seems to be a front runner for the grand prize. Tune to the results show tonight as one contestant is voted off. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS, "Wipeout" on ABC and "30 Rock" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
