Wednesday Roundup

Bobbi Kristina Brown and her adopted brother appear to have grown closer. Pictures of the two kissing have surfaced, although the nature of the relationship hasn't been confirmed. The two have also shared tweets online, with the young man sharing some choice words for those who appose the relationship. Singer Whitney Houston reportedly adopted the young man and raised him as her own and was aware of and approved of the relationship between the two. Meanwhile, Dionne Warwick told Entertainment Tonight that she believes Whitney may have died of a heart attack. Toxicology reports won't return for a few weeks, so this hasn't been confirmed as yet. Warwick, in the meantime, is working on a new album to commemorate her 50th anniversary in show business. A Twitter feud of sorts has begun between singer/songwriter/producer The Dream and up and coming R&B artist The Weeknd. It all began when The Dream, during a concert appearance at S.O.B's in New York City told the crowd about several new artists who have arrived on the scene since his absence. The Weeknd apparently took offense to the comments and took to his Twitter account to let his feelings be known. Dream, of course, responded with a series of tweets of his own, and it's anyone's guest where things will go from here. Let's hope the beef doesn't get out of hand. There's enough room in the industry for everyone. Rapper Jay Z rocked the stage during a recent performance at South by Southwest in Austin TX. The concert was simulcast live around the world. Sponsored by American Express, the show marked Jay Z's first appearance at the music, film and interactive festival, which historically caters to younger, emerging acts. Hova performed for 90 minutes, offering a mixture of old and new hits. The last time around, Kanye West brought his G.O.O.D. Music showcase to the event, with Hova being a surprises guest. This time around, Hova had the stage all to himself. auditions for "The X Factor" begin today. The competition continues on Fox/s "American Idol" as the contestants continue to pull out all the stops to win the grand prize. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "Survivor: One World" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Whitney" on NBC. Happy hump day!
