Tuesday Tales
The film "Men In Black 3" took the top spot at the box office over the long Memorial Day weekend, alien-zapping it's way to an estimated $70 million dollars in four days. "The Avengers", "Battleship", and "The Dictator" round out the top films of the week. Drake and Lil Wayne both say they plan to not pay a concert promoter a cent after reneging on appearing at a recent concert date. The two stars say they were not aware of the concert date and that it was set without their knowledge. A landlord is probably looking forward to Sean Kingston moving out. She claims he owes her almost $70,000 in back rent. Meanwhile, Kingston says he's tired of the home because he doesn't like the sound of the ocean after his jet skiing accident a while back. Rumors are circulating that Brittany Spears used Jennifer Lopez to ask for the 15 million she's reportedly going to receive to appear as a judge on "The X Factor". Rihanna and Meek Mill have confirmed that they are definitely not a couple. The rumor began after the two spotted each other a the same club, then stopped to congratulate each other on their success. Actor/comedian Eddie Murphy does have a new love interest, however. Pictures of the two have appeared on the internet. The treadmill and lettuce are what singer Beyonce says helped her lose weight after giving birth to daughter Blue Ivey. The singer performed a series of comeback concert in Atlantic City over the weekend. Several other stars were in attendance, including Kim Kardashian, who despite rumors that she would appear on stage, tweeted some pictures of herself and Beyonce's backup singers. After being tight-lipped about his major label debut, Mississippi rapper/producer Big K.R.I.T. is finally ready to release the project, "Live From The Underground". The BET Music Matters artist teams up with R&B star Melanie Fiona on the track "If I Fall". In the song, he questions the loyalty of a significant other. The album contains collaborations with several artists, including B.B. King. K.R.I.T. says the two met in the studio, talked and worked on the track. King even played on the track "Praying Man". "Live From The Underground" hits stores on June 5. Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber isn't a little boy anymore. Just ask the photographer who reportedly got into a scuffle with him over the weekend. It happened when Bieber was trying to leave a California mall with girlfriend Selena Gomez. The photographer blocked Bieber's car as he tried to take a picture. Bieber asked the gentleman to move, he declined and some sort of altercation ensued. Bieber and Gomez left the scene soon after. The photographer called 911. He was carried away in an ambulance, according to eyewitnesses. Now authorities want to speak with Bieber, as he and Gomez could face a misdemeanor battery charge. No comment from the Biebs. "America's Got Talent" continues it's competition tonight. On the tube: "New Girl" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Cougar Town" on ABC and "America's Got Talent" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
