Friday Facts

After a week in Arizona, Katherine Jackson has returned home. No doubt, her grandchildren are happy. Paris tweeted, "grandma's home, thank God". Meanwhile, brother Prince posted some tweets that only leaves one wondering what's really going on in the Jackson family. Those tweets have since been removed. As mentioned previously, grandson TJ Jackson has been granted temporary guardianship of the children. Mrs Jackson may get the children back at a later date, although this hasn't been confirmed. Meanwhile, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon will appear on "The Talk" to discuss the family drama. In the mist of it all, it appears that the one Jackson who's kept a level head is Latoya. She's stayed out of the drama saying it gives the Jacksons a bad name. Although he's found success much later than most rappers, Miami rapper Gunplay has finally landed a spot on Rick Ross' Maybach Music roster and a recording deal with Def Jam Records. During a recent interview, Gunplay went on to say he believes mentor Rick Ross' "God Forgives, But I Don't" is his best work yet. He also revealed that Jay Z's "Reasonable Doubt" is his favorite album of all time. No word on when his debut will hit stores. Producer Sonny Digital was only too happy to welcome Kanye West's golden touch on 2 Chainz' latest single "Birthday Boy". You can hear West's touch on the tract. The collaboration has opened the door to more collaborations for Sonny Digital in the future. He certainly has a bright future ahead of him. In honor of Sherman Hemsley, TV Land will air a "Jeffersons" marathon this weekend. Tune in. In theaters this weekend: "The Watch" and "Step Up: Revolution". On the tube:
