Tuesday Tales

As mentioned previously, rapper Juvenile was arrested in Miami yesterday for disorderly conduct after a fight broke out at club LIP, where he performed with Lil Wayne. Although it's still unclear what happened, Juvenile now says the fight had nothing to do with Lil Wayne. Hopefully, the real story will be told soon. The rumors regarding the "American Idol" judge panel continues. Now, reportedly, rapper Nicki Minaj will have a seat on the panel, while Randy Jackson will be moved to a mentoring role. Although neither Fox nor the producers of the show have commented, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and Joe Jonas are among those in the running for a seat on the judges panel. Auditions begin soon and the new season begins in January. We'll have to wait and see what happens with the judges panel. Fans eagerly awaiting rapper Meek Mill's upcoming album, "Dreams And Nightmares", will  have to wait a little longer. The album was initially slated for release on August 28, but has been pushed back to October 30. The Philly MC says when he puts out an album, he wants it to be a classic. Drake and Chris Brown haven't seen the last of the fallout from their brawl in a New York nightclub in June. A model who was injured during the melee recently sued the two stars adding to a lawsuit filed against them last week by a representative of the club itself. Romain Julien, a model who was in attendance when the brawl occurred, says he suffered a severed tendon in his right hand, lacerations from broken glass, cosmetic deformity and mental distress, according to the Associated Press. The suit accuses Brown of having a "hot temper" and escalating the chaos, which reportedly began as a result of an affront made by Drake and his entourage. Julien is seeking both actual and punitive damages from both parties as well as the club owners. Last week, Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. filed a $16 million lawsuit against Drake and Brown for igniting the violence. Since the incident, the club Greenhouse and it's basement lounge, W.i.P. have been the target of a string of lawsuits and aggressive challenges from the city. Fans looking forward to seeing Lauryn Hill on "Oprah's Next Chapter" shouldn't hold their breaths. While the talk show queen has interviewed pop stars and presidents alike, Hill has been the one subject that has eluded her. The news came in response to a fan who asked that Winfrey have Hill on her show. In a reply, the talk show host replied, "Tried, she said no". She sat down with singer Rihanna for a candid conversation this weekend. Hill is in trouble with the IRS for failing to pay taxes in 2005, 2006 and 2007, and is facing three years in prison. On DVD: "The Dictator", "A Separation", "Bernie" and "Feelancers". DJ Khaled has new music in stores this week. On the tube: "Masterchef" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "America's Got Talent" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
