Last month many fans were surprised that the highly-anticipated collaboration between Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga didn't make "good kid, m.A.A.d city". The two artist worked on the original version of Kendricks's "B**** Don't Kill My Vibe", with Gaga delivering a special hook. While the song didn't make the final tracklist, the "Monster" star decided to share it with fans anyway, catching Lamar by surprise. Lamar told XXL.com that he thought Gaga was going to hold the track in the can. He added that he's fine with it because it shows they weren't fooling around. He continues to promote his album, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard charts with 241,000 copies sold in it's first week. The critically-acclaimed project produced the highest first week sales of any hip hop release this year. In the wake of supestorm Sandy, some of music's finest will come together to raise funds for victims in a benefit concert dubbed "12-12-12" held at Madison Square Garden. Sandy left many parts of the tri-state area devastated and the music community is more than happy to help the cause. The all-star line-up includes Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Paul McCartney, The Who, Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Roger Waters. The concert will reportedly bear a striking resemblance to the 2001 benefit thrown at the same venue for 9/11 victims, which also featured McCartney, The Who, Bon Jovi, and Joel and was arranged by Clear Channel, the Madison Square Garden Company and the Weinstein Company. The event could really aid Sandy victims if it has just as an amazing turn out that the 9/11 benefit did., which raised $35 million. The concert will be televised, although it's unclear as of yet which network, and there's still talk of adding more performers to the bill. This could be a historic nigh for music. All funds raised by "12-12-12" will go to the Robin Hood Relief Fund. More information regarding the concert will be released at a later date. In theaters this weekend: "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2" and "Lincoln". On the tube: "Kitchen Nightmares" on Fox, "Undercover Boss" on CBS, "Last Man Standing" on ABC and "Go On" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
