Monday Memo

The film "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt 2" topped the holiday weekend box office again, earning over $43 million dollars. "Skyfall", "Lincoln", "Rise of the Guardians" and "Life of Pi' round out the top five films of the week. Sad news out of Hollywood. Actor Larry Hagman, who played J.R. Ewing on the 80's series "Dallas" died Friday of complications from throat cancer. He was 81. Hagman also starred on the sixties series "I Dream Of Jeanie". He was 81. Gabriel  Aubrey, the father of actress Halle Berry's daughter and her fiance Oliver Martinez got into a scuffle when Aubrey brought the child home over the Thanksgiving holiday. Reportedly, Martinez confronted Aubrey and blows were exchanged. Aubrey suffered a bruised rib and other injuries, while Martinez suffered a broken hand and a neck injury. Fans of "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" won't be seeing Kim Zolack on the show next season. She's let producers know that she's done with the show. She was advised by doctors not to travel while pregnant, but producers insisted, so she decided to quit. Actor Chevy Chase won't return to the show "Community". He had disagreements with the shows creator, and now the two have mutually agreed it's best that he leave. He's filmed a few episodes, which will air, but won't appear in later ones. Actor Terrance Howard and his wife are officially divorced. Mrs Howard filed for divorce in February 2011 claiming Howard had abused her. Howard fired back by saying she was a rapist. After all the rumors that have plagued the two for sometime, Kimora Lee Simmons confirmed via Twitter that she and husband Djimon Hounsou have called it quits. The two have been married for five years and have a 3-year-old son together. Simmons tweeted that she and her husband have been separated for some time. Another statement read that the two "are set to remain happy, loving, co-parenting friends and family". Best wishes to both parties. Rapper Nicki Minaj is blaming the slow sales of her repackaged "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" album on Best Buy and other retailers. She says since they don't carry the album, no one can get it. The retailers all say since some fans already have the initial album, they don't want the repackaged version. Singer Keyshia Cole told Bow Wow on "106 & Park" that she initially refused to do the "Black Girls Rock" event because she's bi-racial, but after learning what the organization does and how it uplifts all young women, she changed her mind.   On the tube: "Bones" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, "Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars Live" on ABC and "The Voice" on NBC. Happy Monday!
