Tuesday Tales

Something's in the water in Hollywood. Singer Keri Hilson had a seizure while on board a plane heading home from China. Her representatives are saying she suffered from exhaustion. Rapper Lil Wayne has lost his lawsuit against producer Quincy Jones. Fans will recall that the Young Money head sued claiming the producer depicted him in negative light in a documentary and used his music in the film without permission. Now, Weezy is going to have to pay the producer and the producer says the suit cost him profits. In other Lil Wayne news, rumor has it that Weezy's afraid to leave Young Money. Reportedly the powers that be at the label's distributor have insisted that Wayne not leave. Sometime back there was talk of Drake leaving the label, which he quickly denied. Singer's Rihanna and Katy Perry were once BFF's but not anymore. It appears that Perry isn't comfortable with Rihanna's renewed friendship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Now, reportedly Nicki Minaj and Perry have become close, with Minaj posting photos of Perry on her Instagram account. Singer Nicki Gilbert has been fired from the reality series "R&B Divas". It seems research shows the viewing audience wasn't really feeling her. No word on a replacement. Rapper Jay Z performed at a rally for President Barack Obama in Columbus OH. recently. He performed his hit "99 Problems", but changed the "b" word with Mitt. R Kelly played peace maker at his own concert recently. Two female audience members began fighting over a seat. What did Kelly do? He continued singing, of course. Security stopped the fight. The Twitter feud between rapper 50 Cent and boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr appears to be a fake. In a post to his Twitter account, which has eight million followers Fif stated he was tired of the nonsense and that Mayweather asked him to act as though the two were feuding because no one was paying attention to him. 50 went on to say that Mayweather is like a brother  and claimed that he went along with the stunt as a favor to the undefeated boxer. Mayweather fueled the reports of a feud by sending a slew of mocking tweets of his own to 50. The surviving members of TLC stated their considering using a hologram of the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes for a tour. Chilli says it will trigger a lot of emotions, but fans would love to see it. Natina Reed, rapper with the group Blaque was laid to rest over the weekend after being fatally struck by a vehicle on Oct. 26. Reed was mourned by family and friends at a funeral service in Lithonia GA. Reeds leaves behind a 10-year-old son, Tren, whom she had with rapper Kurupt. Both were present at the funeral, along with fellow Blaque members Brandi Williams and Shamari Fears. Blaque had two top ten singles in 1999 "808" and "Bring It All To Me" ft JC Chasez of N'Sync. Their self-titled debut album was certified platinum. In a statement last week, both Williams and Fears remembered their friend. Kurupt, who was engaged to Reed, reportedly handled the all the expenses for the memorial service. On DVD: "The Amzaing  Spider-Man", "Arthur Christmas", "Sunset Boulevard" and "Your Sister's Sister". On the tube: "Fox News Speical: You Decided 2012 Live" on Fox, "Campaign 2012: CBS News Coverage Of Election Night Live" on CBS, "ABC News: Your Voice Your Vote 2012 Live" on ABC and "2012 Election Night Live" on NBC.
