Tuesday Tales
Rapper Gucci Mane appeared in court where he plead not guilty to an assault charge. The charge stems from an incident that occurred in an Atlanta club where he stuck a fan with a bottle after the man asked to take a picture. The Atlanta rapper has made no comment on the matter. Could Beyoncé and Jay Z be expecting baby number two? The New York Post reported that the singer wore a gown designed to hide her baby bump and even ordered a great deal of chicken on a recent trip. The rumor hasn't been confirmed, so stay tuned. Singer Chris Brown is in hot water with his neighbors. He's taken an affinity for graffiti art to the side of his house via some colorful, monstrous blobs, and neighbors are complaining. He could be faced with a $367 fine, which could increase. Neighbors say the art work is frightening area children. Brown, of course, took to social networking site Twitter to let his feelings regarding the matter be known saying "Keep em inside then. It's art. There's much scarier characters on Harry Potter. Get a f****** life". His attorney, Mark Geragos, isn't backing down either. He says it's about the first amendment and the fine threat is the latest in a series of harassing moves. Los Angeles city code officials have given Brown 30 days to remove the graffiti from the home. Rohan Marley, ex of singer Lauryn Hill, stated during an interview with TMZ that he'll take the children the former couple share while Hill serves a three month sentence for tax evasion. She'll also have to pay a $60,000 fine, be placed on probation and have to submit to home incarceration. Hill and Marley dated for a decade, but never married. Marley has since gotten engaged to Brazilian model Isabeli Fontana. Hill was slapped with jail time after failing to file tax returns on earnings from 2005-2007. A producer of the Fox show "American Idol" has revealed that the changes the show has undergone not working is the reason for the drop in its ratings. He also added that it will return to a three judge panel next season. No word on replacements for the current judges. In other "Idol" news, during a recent interview with Teen Vogue, rapper Nicki Minaj stressed the importance of following ones on path to young people. Nice gesture. On DVD: "Cloud Atlas", "Frankie Go Boom", "A Glimpse Inside The Mind Of Charles Swan" and "Warm Bodies". On the tube: "So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Wipe Out" on ABC and "The Voice" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
