Friday Facts

Concert promoters have cancelled several Chief Keef dates fearing that he may have another run in with the law. The fears have come true. The rapper was scheduled to appear in court to explain why he hasn't paid child support, but never showed up. Thus, a warrant has been issued for him. Here's hoping he get his life back on track soon. Rapper Kanye West recently went into a profanity laced rant at an album release  party for rapper Pusha T. So much for the new leaf he apparently turned over recently. First rapper Game pitched in to help with funeral expenses for a 6-year old girl who was gunned down, now Snoop Lion has reportedly made a donation as well. It's wonderful to see these gentlemen giving back to their community. Legendary rapper MC Lyte will be honored for her contributions to hip hop at the next BET Hip Hop Awards. MC Lyte is known for such hits as "Lyte As A Rock" and "Cha Cha Cha" and s considered a pioneer among female rappers.  No one deserves the honor more.  NBA star Kris Humphries may have not gotten the annulment he wanted, but he isn't walking away from his marriage to Kim Kardashian empty handed. The NBA player will auction off the 20-caret engagement ring he gave Kardashian before their ill-fated 72-day marriage, according to US Weekly. The 20-carat diamond was listed on Christie's auction house by a representative for Humphries. The Lorraine Schwartz-designed sparkler is expected to fetch between $300,00  and $500,000 at auction, significantly less than the $2 million it was reported to be worth when Humphries popped the question 3 years ago. Humphries isn't necessarily hard up for cash. He signed a $24 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets last year, and reportedly turned down a $10 million divorce settlement from Kardashian. Kardashian, who welcomed a baby girl with boyfriend Kanye West, has also clearly moved on. In theaters this weekend: "The Family" and Insidious: Chapter 2". On the tube: "So You Think You Can Dance" on Fox, "Undercover Boss" on CBS, "Last Man Standing" on ABC and "The Million Second Quiz Live" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
