Wednesday Roundup
As mentioned previously, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are officially engaged and reportedly West gave Kardashian a 15 caret diamond. While there's still no word on a wedding date, Kardashian had some concern about West performing with an individual dressed like Jesus during a recent concert. Kardashian didn't seem to think it was a good idea. In the meantime, marriage may be the thing that helps mellow West a bit. West stated during an interview with San Francisco's 106 KMEl that he's learning social skills from Kardashian. West added that he thanks God for bring Kardashian into his life. The TLC biopic "Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story" gave cable network VH1 it's highest ratings ever at 1.4 million. Many took to social networking site Twitter to comment on the film about the career of the 90's girl group that went on to have the biggest selling album by a female group before the tragic death of member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes. Queen of hip hop soul Mary J. Blige is set to sing the national anthem to open game 1 of the World Series between the Boston Red Sox and the St. Louis Cardinals. Game 1 airs live from Boston tonight at 7:30 p.m. Rapper Eminem is set to tour Australia and has invited rappers Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole to go with him. It will be the first time Slim Shady's performed on the continent and it should be huge. His next studio album, "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" is set to hit stores on Nov. 5 and the first single "Berzerk" debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. On the tube: "2013 World Series Live" on Fox, "Survivor" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Revolution" on NBC. Happy hump day!
