Tuesday Tales

Rapper Jim Jones is slated to teach a six week course to high school students through Entertainers 4 Education Alliance Inc starting today. He says he will teach the students how to touch base with several facets of the music business. From the label owner perspective, the executive perspective and the artist perspective as well. Atlanta rapper B.o.B. is boiling over with excitement over the release of his debut cd, "The Adventures Of Bobby Ray" today. The Rebel Rock/Grand Hustle/Atlantic artist collaborated with mentor T.I on one track "Bet I Bust".  The cd includes appearances by T.I, Eminem, Lupe Fiasco, Haley Williams, Bruno Mars and others. Singer Usher has reportedly been dropped by his record label Jive Records.  The singer's latest effort "Raymond Vs Raymond"  did well during it's first few weeks of release then tanked.  Be sure to tune in to "Dancing With The Stars" for the results show.  It's anyone's guest who will go home tonight. The summer movie season is fast approaching and it will be interesting to see which films do well at the box office. On dvd: "Its Complicated" and "The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus". B.o.B has new music in stores this week. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Dancing With The Stars" on ABC, and "The Biggest Loser: Couples" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
