'Thursday Dish

Rapper DMX has been released from prison after serving four months out of a six month jail sentence for probation violation. The rapper was sent to prison in Arizona on March 9 for five counts of violating his probation in which all the violations were related to cocaine abuse. Here's  hoping the MC gets his life and career back on track. Singer Mary J. Blige has received her GED and may attend Howard University this fall. This is not a done deal just yet. The singer still  has to complete the admissions process, although the univesity has stated it does welcome her choice. Stay tuned. The Emmy award nominations were announced today, and voters awarded new blood with nods for trophy shots. "Glee", "The Good Wife", "Nurse Jackie" and "True Blood" were all nominated for best series. Be sure to catch the show on NBC on Aug 29. Jimmie Fallon will host. If you've been waiting for CBS's "Big Brother" to return, wait no more. The show marks its return tonight, and there's sure to be plenty of surprises in store for viewers. Be sure to catch it tonight on CBS. Fans of the former CW show "The Game" will be happy to know that the show will return with all new episodes on BET. Stay tuned.
