Friday Facts
Rapper Nicki Minaj has finally announced the title and release date of her highly anticipated debut cd. The cd will be called "Pink Friday" and will be released on November 23. The rapper recently chopped it up with fans on Ustream about her album and the suggestions they made regarding a title. Prince is reportedly being sued by his former attorney, Ed McPherson. In court documents filed in LA County Superior Court, McPherson claims he served as legal council for the singer on two separate cases, but has yet to be paid the $49, 987.74 fee. Reps for Prince have not commented on the matter. Add rapper Young Buck's name to the list of rappers having tax trouble. The Nashville MC's home was recently raided by the IRS and the government agency took items including recording equipment, jewerly, furniture, platinum plaques and a Play Station. He stated that the incident occurred because he trusted lawyers, managers and accountants to handle his business affairs. He says from now on, he'll stay on top of his own business. "Glee" fans will be happy to know that a Brittany Spears tribute episode will air soon. Although the singer will not appear, tales from her life will be tied into the show's story line. Speaking of Spears, her ex Justin Timberlake, it is rumored, will make a guest appearance on the show. So far, no plans are in the works to make that a reality. We'll wait and see what happens. Actor George Clooney has yet another film in the works. Titled "The American" it appears to be yet another blockbuster in the works. In theaters this weekend: "The Other Guys", Step Up 3D", "Flipped" and "Middle Men". On the tube: "Bones" on Fox, "48 Hours Mystery" on CBS, "Wife Swap" on ABC and "Friday Night Lights" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
