Singer Mariah Carey released a statement saying she is ashamed and embarrassed that she wasn't aware that a event she performed at was financed by President Mubarak of Libya. She will return the performance fee she was paid and will donate proceeds of her new single to a human rights organization. In other Maria Carey news, the singer will have a baby shower this weekend and is sure to receive a lot of beautiful gifts for the twins she's reportedly expecting. Reality star Kim Kardashian is reportedly asking that those inquiring minds who are asking about her relationship with her latest beau to mind their own business. The problem is, the star has been tweeting about their relationship for sometime. She says she just doesn't want what happened between she and Reggie Bush to happen again. Only time will tell. In case you haven't already, pick up the latest issue of Jet  magazine featuring Aretha Franklin on the cover. The singer discusses her health scare, changing her diet and when she will hit the road again. Singer Chaka Khan is featured on the cover of Upscale magazine. The singer discusses motherhood, staying sober and the music industry today. The hit reality show "Celebrity Apprentice" is gearing up for a return, and there's sure to be more drama and excitement for fans. The cast will include Latoya Jackson, NeNe Leaks,  and Star Jones. The top 13 contestants were chosen on Fox's "American Idol" last night and it appears the show has found just the right mix of contestants to make this an exciting season. Be sure to tune in next week to vote and learn who goes home. The "NAACP Image Awards" will air tonight on Fox at 8:00 pm. The show honors African American excellence in business, government and entertainment, among others. Actress Heather Locklear will return to the small screen in the Lifetime Movie "He Loves Me". She plays a successful real estate agent who is shocked to learn of her husband's affair, despite having one of her own. No word on when the film will air. In theaters this weekend: "The Adjustment Bureau", "Beastly", "Rango" and "Take Me Home Tonight". On the tube: "NAACP Image Awards" on Fox, "The Defenders" on CBS, "Supernanny" on ABC and "Who Do You Think You Are" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
