Friday Facts

In case you've been living under a rock for the past few months, England's Prince William and Kate Middleton have taken their vows and are now husband and wife. Over 2 million people are said to have watched the event on television. Elton John was among the stars who atttended. Singer Aretha Franklin stated that she's so serious about getting fit, that she broke a piece of exercise equipment in her home. In more Aretha Franklin news, just when it looked like Fantasia was a shoe in for the title role in a biopic of the singer's life, it looks like Jennifer Hudson make may get the part. There's still been no word on when the film will hit theaters, however. Rapper Flava Flav's former business partner is now firing back after the star claimed that a chicken shack the two ran together went under because he didn't run the business properly. He now says Flava just doesn't want to be hurt due to the other ventures he's involved in, and he's actually the one who put the whole idea for the business together. Congratualtions to singer Chris Brown are in order. After only a few months on the charts, his "F.A.M.E." CD is the only hip hop CD in the top ten. Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9 has announced performers for their upcoming anniversary bash. Chris Brown, Keri Hilson and Lloyd are the confirmed performer for the event, which will be held on June 18 at the Phillips Arena in downtown Atlanta. More artists will be announced soon. Rapper Cam'ron stated during an interview that despite rumors, he won't appear along side Soulja  Boy in the remake of the 1992 film "Juice". He says he thinks it's a film that should be left alone. Ke$sha let a tweet slip that she and rapper  Nicki Minaj will collaborate on a remix for the rapper's single "Super Bass". The single will appear on a deluxe edition of the rapper's "Pink Friday" album. Although the tweet was deleted moments later, Minaj has expressed that she'd like to limit the amount of collaborations she does. Despite model Amber Rose doing a press conference to annouced that she will be doing a reality show for VH1, the network has denied the claims saying it knows nothing about the show. Casey Abrams was given the boot on  last night's "American Idol". Tune next week as the competition continues. In theaters this weekend: "Fast Five", Hoodwinked Too!: Good vs Evil" and "Prom". According to website mediatakeout.com, singer Chris Brown has proposed to the young woman he's been seen in photos with over the internet. Rumor has it the proposal took place over the phone. This rumor has not been confirmed by the singer or anyone in his camp, so stay tuned. Lil Scrappy has apparently rebounded nicely after a breakup with rapper Diamond. He's reportedly now dating Bucky from "Flavor Of Love". Jennifer Lopez and Drake will do voice overs for the next "Ice Age" film. There's been no word on when the film will be released, however. Rapper 50 Cent has launched his own comedy website, 50centcomedy.com. The site will feature stand up comedy shows. For fans wondering about the delay of the release of Lil Wayne's highly anticipated next release, the reason is simple. He's a perfectionist and perfecting a few tracks on the still unfinished album. The disc was slated for a May 16 release, but has now been pushed back to June 21. In the meantime, Weezy will continue his trek around the world on his "I Am Music" tour. Eminem and Royce Da 5'9" will team up for a collaborative EP. The Shady Records CEO stated that the collaboration came about when the two started hanging out. The EP titled "Bad Meets Evil" will hit stores on June 14. Meanwhile, Royce is in the studio with Slaughterhouse preparing the groups Shady Records debut, and will release a solo album "Success Is Certain" on July 26. Fans wondering if they'll ever see a Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre reunion may want to make plans to head down to Miami for Memorial Day. Although nothing's been confirmed, rumor  has it that a event is planned featuring the two for the holiday weekend. The two once teased fans with their "Break Up To Make Up" album, which never materialized, and haven't performed together since Snoop was featured on Dr Dre's "Up In Smoke" tour in 2000. If the Miami show happens, it will be a treat for fans. Fans of the hit show "Tyler Perry's House Of Payne" will be sad to know that after five years and seven seasons the show has been cancelled. The results of viewer votes will be revealed on tonight's "American Idol". Another drama filled episode of "Grey's Anatomy" will air tonight as well. The summer movie season will begin soon, and studios are preparing films for the ceneplexs. It remains to be seen, however, which ones will earn large box office receipts. Wednesday Roundup

As mentioned previously, the mother of rapper Lil Scrappy let it be known that she was not happy when rapper Diamond broke things off with her son and then took up with rapper Soulja Boy. She reportedly took to a radio station to air her grievances about the matter, making disparaging remarks about the female MC. She has now gone on the radio again to apologize for her statements. In other Soulja Boy news, fans will recall that he was involved in a bit of controversy when hip hop groupie Kat Stacks posted a video accusing the star of using cocaine. Although the Atlanta rapper admitted to being involved with Stacks, he also stated that the video was part of a set up to end his career. "American Idol" judge Jennifer Lopez will take the stage to perform with rapper Pit Bull on tonight's episode of the hit Fox show. The performance should be a treat for viewers. Alternative music festival Lollapalooza will celebrate it's 20th anniversary with an eclectic mix of stars including Eminem, Cee Lo Green and Nas. The festival will take place on August 5-7 at Grant Park in Chicago. It's been announced that in order to manage the growing roster at Lil Wayne's Young Money and Birdman's Cash Money imprint, a new subsidiary label will be formed. Young Money president Mack Maine made the announcement to MTV News. With a growing roster of artists, and albums to be released he stated he wants to make certain all the artist get the attention they deserve. In more Young Money news, the label's female MC Nicki Minaj told Allure magazine that she plans to release her own fragrance some time this year. No word on when the fragrance will hit stores. Queen Of Soul Aretha Franklin is busy promoting a new album "Aretha: A Woman Falling Out Of Love" and preparing a biopic for which she says she's secured financial and creative control of. There's been no word on a leading lady, however. The contestants have hung up their dancing shoes for another week on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars", and it remains to be seen who will walk away with the mirror ball trophy. WWE star Chris Jericho was given the boot on last night's results show. Fox will premiere a new series "Breaking In" tonight. Former Destiny's Child member Farrah Franklin was arrested for disorderly conduct. Police say alchol was a factor in the case. Franklin posted $100 bail. She says she also plans to sue the police because they manhandled her during the arrest. Atlanta rapper Young LA was arrested for criminal destruction of property. No other details regarding the arrest have been given, so stay tuned. Couples  news alert. Rapper Diamond has reportedly broken things off with Lil Scrappy and begun seeing Soulja Boy. The ironic thing is, Lil Scrappy's mom is not happy about the pairing of her son and the female rhyme slinger. Kim Kardashian's younger sister is reportedly seeing the 16-year old son of rapper Snoop Dogg. Despite still riding the charts with her "Pink Friday" album, rapper Nicki Minaj revealed that she will release another album in 12 months. She says an announcement will be made in September. The rapper is currently on the road with Lil Wayne and the rest of Young Money for the "I Am Still Music Tour" and will collaborate with Brittany Spears on the remix of "Til The World Ends". Rapper Ludacris is preparing his next release "Ludaversal". He says the album will show what he's capable of to those who have doubts and wake up those who have been sleeping. He took time off from his budding acting career to record the album. He will appear in the next installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise "Fast Five" The film stars Vin Diesal, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and hits theaters on April 29. "Ludaversal" will hit stores in early 2012. There's much media speculation that teen sensation Justin Bieber will bring Chris Brown on stage as a guest during his upcoming concert in Australia. Bieber tweeted a message about the possibilty, but nothing's been confirmed. Both artists have dates scheduled in Australia this week, so a collobration is likely. Rapper Yung Berg  has added producer to his resume. He stated in an interview that he's produced a track on Lil Wayne's highly anticipated next release "Tha Carter 4". The track is called "John (If I Should Die)". He and partner AYO have also done tracks for Ray J, Brandy and Jim Jones. No word on when Yung Berg plans to release new music of his own. Be sure to tune in to tonight's "Dancing With The Stars" results show. The dancing has been done, and contestants and viewers will learn who will be sent home. Monday Memo

"Rio" topped the weekend box office earning over $26 million dollars. "Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family", "Water for Elephants", "Hop" and "Scream 4" round out the top five films of the week. Attorney generals in seventeen different states have blasted rapper Snoop Dogg's new beverage "Blast", saying it contains just as much alcohol as four drinks. There's been no comment from the Snoop Dogg or anyone in the rapper's camp. Rapper 50 Cent appears on the cover of the latest issue of Vibe magazine. In the article his states that Young Money Entertainment rapper Drake would not be as popular as he is if Young Money Entertainment CEO Lil Wayne hadn't gone to prison. He further stated that he could make comments regarding rumored former flame singer Ciera, but wouldn't. Michael Jackson's former dermatologist Dr Kline, stated during testimony that his office manager had a gay affair with the pop superstar, then later took to Facebook to dispute the claim. No word on when testimony will continue in the case. Teen sensation Justin Bieber can add being added to Time magazine's list of Top 100 most influential people. The youngster was added to a list that included President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama, and talk show queen Oprah Winfrey. After putting marijuana smoking in the forefront of his career, rapper Method Man says he wants to shake that image. He says having children has changed his outlook. He's currently preparing for the release of his next project "The Crystal Meth Album". There's been no announcement when the disk will hit stores. While hitting the stage at various venues on his "Iam Music Tour", Lil Wayne also made a cameo appearance in Jennifer Lopez' video for her single "I'm Into You". The video will make it's world premiere on May 2 on the "Today Show, one day before the release of Lopez' highly anticipated album "Love". The competition continues on "Dancing With The Stars" tonight. Viewers will see who will get to boot on Tuesday's results show. Simon Cowell would like former "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul to join him on his new Fox show "X Factor".  Reportedly former Island Def Jam Music Group chairman Antonio "LA" Reid and British singer Cheryl Cook will join the two as judges. Deals have not been finalized for Abdul and Cook. No word on when the show will make it's debut. Friday Facts

The Game is over. In Canada anyway. As mentioned previously, The Game was detained by Canadian officials until his immigration status could be evaluated. He has now been banned from the country due to his ties to street gangs. He was in the country to  do a series of shows, and now it appears the shows won't happen at all. More details regarding the recent Coachella Music Festival, held over the weekend are coming in. Rumor has it that Rihanna and Usher were seen flirting with one another and even left together holding hands. Usher's girlfriend Grace was reportedly on hand as well, and Rihanna also flirted with Leonardo DiCaprio. Only time will tell if all the rumors are true or false. Rapper Jim Jones' girlfriend reportedly purposed to the Dip Set head haucho, the other problem was the rapper's  mother didn't approve. She was not made aware that the proposal was going to take place. It remains to be seen if there will be any wedding bells in the future for the couple. Dallas rapper Dorrough says he will release a documentary and song about the DEA. Earlier this year the rapper was arrested by DEA officials when they raided his home claiming he was involved in drug trafficking. He says he's decided to release a song and documentary detailing the incident, hoping to prove he was falsely accused and violated. He says law enforcement kicked in his door, threw a gun in his face, threw him to the ground and searched his home. He also says he has documents that claim the police were planning the raid for well over a year. Lil B probably expected a  little backlash when he announced the title of his next release would be "I"m Gay", but he probably didn't expect death threats. The rapper has been receiving unsettling comments from those not pleased with his choice of an album title. He announced the album title at the Coachella Music Festival. A release date for the album has not been confirmed. Stefano was given the boot on "American Idol" last night. The contestants performed songs from the 21st century during this weeks competition. In other "American Idol" news, judge Jennifer Lopez is working with "Idol" producer Simon Fuller on a Latino version of the hit Fox show. She and husband Mark Anthony will reportedly host the show, as they search for undiscovered vocal talent. The show is being shopped around to various  networks. It remains to be seen if Lopez will remain a judge on "Idol". Her contract is only for one season, but may be renewed. For those unaware, film makers Spike Lee and Tyler Perry have had a beef going for some time, with Lee referring to Perry's work as "coonery and buffoonery". At a recent press conference Perry responded by saying Lee should just shut the hell up. Perry's latest film "Medea's Big Happy Family" hits theaters this weekend. Rapper Gucci Mane will plead not guilty to putting a woman out of his Hummer. The rapper reportedly put a woman out of his Hummer when she rejected his sexual advances. He was charged with battery, reckless conduct, and disorderly conduct. Halle Berry and her ex left court without a deal in their custody battle. Reportedly, Berry's ex is concerned about Berry taking their daughter with her when she travels. Rapper Game is on lock down in Canada. While in the country to perform fourteen shows, the rapper has been detained until his immigration status can be evaluated. Kanye West's foundation was shut down without explanation. The foundation was ran by West's late mother, Dr Donda West. Employees were notified of the shut down via email. In other Kanye West news, the rapper's ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose will reportedly open a sunglasses shop and has a book in the works as well. With his latest release "Lasers" still riding the charts, Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco says his next release "Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album" will  please his core fan base. The album is a follow up to his debut release "Food & Liquor", which earned him praise in the hip hop industry. It was "Songs Of the 21st Century" night on "American Idol" last night, and tonight the results of viewer votes will be revealed. Wednesday Roundup

Here's one for the dumb criminal files. Someone got rapper 50 Cent's American Express card, and purchased a flat screen television. The problem with that was, the store became suspicious after the purchase was made when it was requested that the television be delivered. The customer was asked to pick the item up. No suspects have been arrested as of yet. Rapper Lil Wayne is currently filming concerts on his "I Am Music Tour". He says the inspiration came from Jay Z 's film "Backstage" and Russell Simmons' 1995 film "The Show". No word on when the film will hit theaters. A judge has ruled that footage of Michael Jackson's concert film "This Is It" can be used as evidence to prove the late singer was excited about touring, and not contemplating suicide, as Dr Conrad Murray's defense team suggest. The trial will begin on Wednesday. R. Kelly has announced that he will hit the road for a two month tour to begin the first week of June. Venues and dates have not yet been announced. G-Unit member Lloyd Banks is currently riding the charts with a new single "I Don't Deserve You". He collaborated on the single with Jeremih. Dru Hill member Nokio is heading to court for a custody hearing with New York City radio personality Angie Martinez. A lot of allegations have been thrown around, and it remains to be seen who things will pan out. Stay tuned. Pia Nemcova was voted off "Dancing With The Stars" last night. Country star Toby Keith entertained the crowd during last night's show. Tune in next week as the competition continues. The top seven will take the stage on "American Idol" tonight. It's songs of the 21st Century night, and it will be interesting to see how well each contestants does. The latest installment of the "Fast & Furious" franchise will hit theaters on April 29. Tuesday Tales

Rappers Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa reportedly nearly came to blows at a music festival last weekend. It all began when West took the stage, and during his set he took a shot at ex-girlfriend Amber Rose, who is dating Wiz Khalifa. After his set, West was confronted by Khalifa, and security had to be called. Only time will tell how long this will continue. It's time for all involved to move on.  Cee-Lo didn't fare much better, unfortunately. His plane was late, which caused  his set to be cut short. He reportedly asked audience members to  make a not so kind gesture to festival organizers. His mike was then cut off. Don't expect to see actress Halle Berry jump the broom anytime soon. She stated she's been married twice and marriage is not for her. Karrine "Superhead" Steffans has filed yet another restraining order on ex-husband Darius McCrary. She claims he's been loitering outside her house and cyber stalking her as well. As most fans know, Krazy Bone has announced that he's left Bones Thugs & Harmony to concentrate on his own projects. Rumor has it that one of those projects may be Lazy Bone's wife. This is a rumor and hasn't been confirmed, so stay tuned. Congratulations to Chris Brown are in order. After only three weeks on the charts, his new CD "F.A.M.E." has gone gold. Five time Grammy award winner Elton John will return to the Las Vegas Strip for a three-year run at Caesars Palace. He will return his Million Dollar Piano Show to Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in September. Tickets for the first 16 shows go on sale April 25. John completed his first run at Caesars Palace in April 2009. The Red Piano was originally slated to run for three years, but was extended to a five-year run due to audience demand. John was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999. Mary J. Blige announced that she has another life coming. Seventeen years after the release of her classic sophmore album "My Life", Blige is set to release "My Life 2: The Journey Continues" on September 20. The video for the first single "Someone To Love Me (Naked)" was released earlier this week and features long time collaborator Sean "Diddy" Combs plus Lil Wayne. The upcoming release features production from Kanye West, Swizz Beatz, Danja and Stargate. Blige is currently in the studio in New York and Los Angeles.  The contestants have danced for votes, and now the results will be revealed on "Dancing With The Stars" tonight. The competition continues on "American Idol" tonight as well. Monday Memo

"Rio" topped the weekend box office earning over $40 million dollars. "Scream 4", "Hop", "Soul Surfer" and "Hanna" round out the top five films of the week. Lil Wayne fans will have to wait a little longer for the MC's next CD. It's been pushed back to June. There's been no reason given for the delay. Halle Berry fans will have to wait to see the Academy Award winning actress on Broadway. She's put off appearing in a new play to contend with a custody battle with the father of her daughter, Nalia. Chris Brown has announced that he has a explicit verison of his song "Spend It All" coming soon. He took to social networking sit Twitter to make the announcement. He's certainly making it clear that he's all grown up now, and no longer the fresh faced innocent heartthrob young R&B fans fell in love with. Chicago rapper Rhymfest lost his recent election bid for alderman of Chicago's 20th Ward to incumbent Willie Cochran. Cochran received 54.6 percent of the vote, while Rhymefest made a strong showing with 45.4 percent of the vote, according to the Chicago Tribune. He alleged voter fraud, however, stating "we want to make certain every vote is counted, and people didn't live in the ward of vacant lots weren't people who were voting. We want to make certain the 20th Ward voices were heard". Bone Thugs & Harmony recently released a statement regarding the recent departure of Krazy Bone stating that one member left, but the group is still around. Although this appears to be just a rumor, reportedly Drake is broke due to his love of expensive toys, and having to pay Lil Wayne and Bryan "Birdman" Williams huge fees. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne has put his Miami home up for sell. He also owes the IRS a huge amount in unpaid taxes. Rapper Gucci Mane is still in prison after being arrested last Friday for allegedly putting a woman out of his car after she rejected his sexual advances. Even if bail is posted, he will be transferred to another prison.  Before releasing his Grand Hustle Records debut "Pl3DGE" on May 17, Killer Mike reportedly wants to pay Grand Hustle CEO T.I. a visit. T.I. will have his visiting privileges restored on April 19, and Mike wants to get on the  list. T.I. is currently serving an eleven month sentence for violating his probation. Prison officials couldn't confirm this date, however. Rapper Crooked I says he's ready to reinvent the West coast. With the release of  his EP "Million $ Story", and the recent signing of Slaughterhouse to Eminem's Shady Records, he's set to take things to another level. BET Live! has announced that Diddy-Dirty Money, Lloyd and Tyga will hit the road for a 20 city tour. This should be quite a treat for the goups fans. Krazy Bone has announced that he's left Bone Thugs & Harmony. He wants to focus on his solo career and his new label.  Actress Jasmine Guy is reportedly being sued by American Express for a $86,000 unpaid credit card bill. There's been no word on a settlement. Fans of the hit soap operas "One Life To Live" and "General Hospital" will be sad to know that both shows have been cancelled. Fans of the hit show "The Game" will be  happy to know that it's been renewed for another season. This will be the shows fifth, and it was picked up by BET after being cancelled by the CW. Paul McDonald was voted off "American Idol" last night. The show featured performances from Kelly Clarkson and Rihanna. Teyana Taylor, who will appear in Tyler Perry's new film "Medea's Big Happy Family", has denied reports that she beat up a woman who allegedly made disparaging remarks about singer Chris Brown. There have been several post made to social networking site Twitter regarding the incident, but no comment from anyone in the actress' camp. Rapper Lil Wayne has denied that he's currently dating a stylist. He is, however, pursuing Norte Dame women's basketball team member Skyler Diggins. He reportedly sent her tickets to a recent concert, which she refused. In more Lil Wayne news, two Indianapolis gentlemen impersonated police officers after a show the MC did in the city. They escorted Weezy's tour bus from the venue, among other things. Kelly Rowland debuted the video for her new single "Motivation" on "106 & Park" on Monday, and if you wear glasses while watching the clip, they will fog up a bit. The singer and a team of male dancers perform choreographed moves by Frank Gatson, while the singer promises to provide some motivation. Jay Z has launched a life style website called "Life + Times". The site will focus on music, sports, leisure and design, among other interests that reflect the taste of the multi-platinum artist. A recent concert featuring Louisanna rapper Webbie didn't end well. A security guard was left wounded after a gun went off inside Blackman's Plaza, on the East side of St Louis. According to allhiphop.com, in an effort to control the crowd, a security guard used his pistol to strike a man in the fight when the weapon went off striking another guard. 40 state police officers were called to the scene, responding to calls that fights were happening inside and outside the club. There was no word on what started the melee in the club. Neither Webbie nor anyone in the rapper's entourage was injured during the fighting. Miami based DJ Khaled is calling for only the best for his new album. He's assembled a long list of stars for the new project, which will be his debut for Cash Money Records. Kanye West, Mary J Blige, Keyshia Cole, Chris Brown, Drake, Nas and Cee-Lo will all make guest appearances on the album. Young Jeezy, Ace Hood, Jadakiss and Fat Joe, who have all collaborated with the DJ previously, will make guest appearances on the project as well. The album will hit stores on June 28th. Actor/director Robert Redford is set to release the film "Conspirator" tomorrow. Wednesday Roundup

Security had to be beefed up at last night's "Scream 4" premiere after party. The reason? Rapper 50 Cent, who co-hosted the event, leaked the event's location to his 4 million Twitter followers. Rumor has it that a sex tape featuring singer Kelly Rowland and an unidentified gentleman may be circulating. So far, no one seems to have seen this tape, it's just a rumor for now. Stay tuned. Comedian Kat Williams' troubles continue. Police had to be called to a Beverly Hills building after the star go into a heated shouting match with another man. No one was arrested, and there's been no comment from anyone in the actor/comedian's camp. Here's hoping he can get his life and career back on track soon. In the wake of their father's sudden death a month ago, the sons of Nate Dogg are set to begin their recording career. Although the duo hasn't been in the studio yet, the two have been writing rhymes and plan to record with Snoop Dogg, DJ Quik, The Game and other west coast artist. If they can master the art of crafting infectious hooks like their father, they should keep the legacy of his music alive. Former boxing champ Sugar Ray Leonard was given the boot on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars". Tune in next week as the competition continues and see who goes home next. So far, it's been an interesting season, to say the least. Former "American Idol" contestant Pia Toscana hasn't missed a beat since being voted off the show. She's spoken publicly about being voted off and appears to have taken the high road, despite claims that the show is weight biast. Another high octane film in the 'Fast and Furious" franchise will hit theaters later this month titled "Fast And Furious". It should be a hit will fans. Web site mediatakeout.com has reported that Mary J. Blige has severed ties with her manager/husband Kendu Isaacs as her manager. Adding fuel to the fire of the rumor mill, the fact that Blige has been spotted at red carpet events without Isaacs and her wedding band. None of the rumors have been confirmed by Blige or anyone in the singer's camp. Just when the rumor mill had former "American Idol" contestant Pia Toscana signing with Interscope Records, sources say the rumor isn't true. They say she cannot sign any deal until all of her "American Idol" commitments have been taken care of.  Apparently a war of words has begun between mogul Donald Trump and actor/comedian Bill Cosby. It started when during an interview on the "Today Show" Cosby stated Trump should either run for president or shut up. Trump, of course, has fired back, and only time will tell how long the war of words will continue. Hip hop legend Kool G Rap is preparing for the release of his eighth studio album "Riches, Royalty and Respect", which will hit stores on April 19. The album will reunite him with producer Marly Marl. He says of modern hip hop artists today, he's really into Rick Ross. Cee-Lo will record a new version of his hit "Forget You". It's a part of Duracell Battery's campaign to donate batteries to firefighters. The song will be called "Thank You". The original song has sold over 3 million copies and has been covered by the cast of the hit Fox show "Glee". No word on when the new version will be released. The new reality series "Toya: A Family Affair" will premiere tonight. "Braxton Family Values" starring singer Toni Braxton will premiere tonight as well. You can also catch "Lisa Raye: The Real McCoy" on TV One. Writer/director/producter/actor Tyler Perry will bring his Medea character back to the big screen in "Medea"s Big Happy Family".  The film will hit theaters on April 22. Monday Memo

The film "Hop" topped the weekend box office for the second week in  a row, earning over $21 million dollars. "Arthur", "Hanna", "Soul Surfer" and "Insidious" round out the top five films of the week. Rapper Gucci Mane was arrested over the weekend. The rapper picked up a young woman, had dinner, and when he invited the young woman to accompany him to a hotel she refused, and he threw her out. This incident is a violation of his probation. He has been charged with battery, among other charges. No word on a court date. Former drug king pin Freeway Rick Ross is suing rapper Rick Ross once again. Fans will recall that the former Los Angeles drug king pin sued the rapper in federal court, claiming he used his name to get a record deal. The new case will head to civil court in May. After backing out of a tour with Rihanna reportedly to work on new material, Nicki Minaj is set to tour with pop star Brittany Spears. Tour dates and locations have not been announced. It appears that Pia Toscano hasn't missed a beat since being voted off "American Idol". She's signed a deal with Interscope Records. No album title or release date has been announced, however. She seems to be following in the footsteps of former "Idol" contestants who were voted off too soon, but still managed to find success. The sky's the limit for the singer.   Singer Kelly Rowland debuted the video for her new single "Motivation" on "106 & Park" and stated it's the year of the woman and that's what she focused on when recording. She collaborated with Lil Wayne on her new single, and worked with several producers on her upcoming album. She expects it to be released sometime this summer. Another round of competition will take place on "Dancing With The Stars" tonight on ABC. It remains to be seen who will walk away with the mirror ball trophy. Web site mediatakeout.com has reportedly released photographs of singer Rihanna topless. Although this is apparently not the first time the site has released such photos, it has continued it's all out Rihanna media blitz. The site has also reported that singer Keri Hilson is now dating actor Idris Elba. The rumor has not been confirmed, however. Rapper Lil Wayne's European tour has been cancelled due to the New Orleans MC being unable to obtain a visa. He was unable to get the visa due to spending time in prison. The wife of radio personality Funk Master Flex posted a blog entry stating that she and her husband have called it quits. This after the DJ defended friend Mr Cee. Fans will recall Mr Cee was arrested for a lewd act with a transvestite, which he denied, despite police reports to the contrary. Soulja Boy announced via twitter that he will release a video for his latest single, "Juice" . The song is named after the 1992 film of the same name, which starred the late Tupac Shakur. In addition to the video, the MC says he will also release a mini-movie with the same title and concept on April 20. With the smoke finally cleared, rapper Wiz Khalifa's much anticipated debut album "Rolling Papers" has landed at the number 2 position on Billboard, selling over 197,000 copies it' first week in stores. The rapper wasn't able to top pop star Brittany Spears, however. The singer's seventh studio album "Femme Fatale" landed at the number one spot. There's been no word on whether either artist will tour anytime soon to support their albums. As most know, singer Mariah Carey is expecting twins any day now, and she and her husband Nick Cannon have decided to commemorate the pending arrival of the two new additions to their family. They have posed for a set of nude yet tasteful photos. Many may be waiting to see those, we're sure. Pia Toscano was booted from "American Idol" last night, to boos from the crowd, and the surprise of the judges. It was reported that "30 Rock" would end it's season next year, thanks to comments made by Alex Baldwin. Now it appears it's uncertain when the season will end. Thursday Dish

According to FBI files on the death of the late Notorious BIG released yesterday, the rapper was killed with German bullets that can pierce metal. The files, although edited, also state that LAPD officer David Mack had the ammunition in his home, as well as shrines dedicated to Biggie and the late Tupac Shakur.  DJ Megatron was laid to rest yesterday. Police now have two suspects in the death of the DJ in custody. West coast rapper Mack 10 is currently in a Los Angeles hospital recovering from a stomach illness. The illness is reportedly a inflammation of the intestinal wall. No word on when he will be released. It appears that rapper Lil Wayne and singer Chris Brown have both been flirting, via twitter, with Skylar Diggins, a member of the Norte Dame women's basketball team. No word on if a love connection has been made yet. Akon will participate in a campaign for stars against AIDS. No word on when the campaign will begin. The contestants took on Rock and Roll Hall of Fame songs on last night's "American Idol". Tonight, the results of  viewer votes will be revealed. Tune in to TV One for "Lisa Raye: The Real McCoy" tonight.  a new season begins, and only time will tell what will happen when she's around. "30 Rock" will end its season this year. The show has lasted five seasons and will be missed. Matt Lauer will not return to "The Today Show", as his contract expires at the end of the year. No word on his replacement. The trailor for "The Hangover 2" has been banned due to being inappropriate for a PG 13 film. It depicts a monkey simulating oral sex. Rapper Kanye West has apparently said goodbye to Amber Rose and hello to Kate Upton. The rapper has reportedly begun dating the Victoria's Secret model after sneaking in a back door of a Victoria's Secret fashion show. There's been no word on whether wedding bells are in the couple's future, however. There have been conflicting reports regarding the arrest of New York radio personality Mr Cee. The Smoking Gun reported that his arrest occurred at 4:05 p.m., while the New York Daily News reported the arrest occurred at 3:55 a.m. Police records show the arrest did occur at 3:55 a.m and police found a male manipulating the DJ's crouch. He has been arrested on two prior occasions for the same offense. Rapper The Game recently had his Corvette repossessed, but not for the reason you may think. The lease on the vehicle had expired, and the MC had no way to return it. Beyonce Knowles is currently in the studio working on her next CD. While no release date has been announced, the album should be released some time this summer, and she worked with several producers on the project. Evelyn Lozada of "Basketball Wives" will return to the show. She will also receive a salary increase. Talk show host Wendy Williams was the latest celebrity to get the boot on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars". Tune in next week to find out who goes home next. Hot 97 radio personality Mr Cee was arrested for a lewd act after being caught by police in his car with a 20-year old male prostitute. Although initially the arrest was disputed, New York City police have confirmed that the arrest did occur. The DJ took to twitter to deny the allegations, and some have come out in support of the radio personality. There's been no word on a court date. First Beyonce severs ties with her father Matthew Knowles as her manager, now rumors are surfacing that Rihanna may leave hubby Jay Z's management. It's been rumored that Rihanna feels it may be a conflict of interest to be on the same label as Beyonce. Nothing has been confirmed, so stay tuned. Once again rumors are surfacing about Drake leaving Young Money Entertainment. Reportedly, he and Young Money CEO Lil  Wayne discussed the matter, and Drake assured Weezy he's staying put. Another rumor that's surfaced is that teen sensation Justin Bieber will join the Young Money roster. Although the rumor hasn't been confirmed, he's been seen wearing Young Money and Cash Money gear. Mary J Blige will release her next album soon. It will be a follow up to her 1994 hit "My Life" and titled "My Life: My Journey". No word on a release date. Reunion fever has been reverberating through the pop and rock worlds as nearly a dozen disbanded or dormant acts from the past five decades are giving it another go, either on record, on tour, at festivals, or all of the above. 60's rockers Buffalo Springfield, 70's  New Wave hitmakers The Cars, 80's post-punks Big Audio Dynamite, 90's alt-country stars The Jayhawks and pop-punks Blink 182 have all reunited. Blink 182 toured last year, but last recorded in 2003. Some get togethers seem temporary, while others seem fully energized. Representatives for Reggae star Sean Paul have denied that he's penning a tell all book and that he dated singer Beyonce some time back. The representatives stated that the two had a strictly professional relationship. Monday Memo

The film "Hop" topped the weekend box office, earning over $38 million dollars. "Source Code", "Insidious", "Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules" and "Limitless" round out the top five films of the week. Nicki Minaj hasn't wasted any time letting it be known that she's the queen of rap. She's released  a diss track aimed at Lil Kim. In the song she refers to Lil Kim's mixtape "Black Friday". So far, there's been no response from Lil Kim, but you can be assured that this beef won't end any time soon. In other Nicki Minaj news, the rapper was spotted at a Washington DC nightspot wrapped in a blanket, eyes covered with sunglasses. Club officials reportedly asked patrons not to ask for boob signings. Rapper Lil Wayne was spotted in Washington DC as well. He and his entourage reportedly got into a scuffle with some strippers at a DC nightspot. There's been no comment from the rapper's camp regarding the incident. The Academy of Country Music Awards aired last night with Taylor Swift winning Entertainer Of The Year. Miranda Lambert made the most trips to the stage, winning top female vocalist, among others. Although country artists may have been front and center, stars from other genres made appearances at last night's ceremony as well. Rihanna, James Taylor and Areosmith front man Steven Tyler all joined country nominees for duets during the three hour long ceremony. Another round of competition will take place on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars". Tomorrow the results will be revealed and viewers will learn who will be sent home. Actress Lisa Raye will return to TV One for another season of her reality show "Lisa Raye: The Real McCoy" on April 7. Actor/comedian Sinbad also has a reality series set to premiere April 12. While the rapper has not commented on the matter, hopefully soon a statement will be released. Reggae star Sean Paul is set to pen his autobiography. In the book, he claims to have dated singer Beyonce Knowles for a period of time. Fans will recall that he was booted out of a 2003 performance with Beyonce at the MTV Video Music Awards. Rapper Wiz Khalifa has gotten a tattoo of his latest flame Amber Rose's name on his hand. For some time now, rumors swirled about a romantic relationship between the two. The tattoo makes it official. Fans will be happy to know that 1990's boy band Immature has reunited. The group has recorded a single, and hopefully will be back on the road soon. Actor/writer/producer/director Tyler Perry has extended his deal with Lionsgate Films for three additional years. The company also handles the DVD distribution of his hit plays as well. Mary J. Blige announced via twitter that the video for her new single "Someone To Love Me" will feature Lil Wayne and Diddy. It will be the first single from her upcoming as yet untitled CD. She has been working on the album since August, and has collaborated with Swizz Beatz, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Ne-Yo and Raphael Saadiq, among others. The single has been released to iTunes and is receiving air play across the country. The top eleven became the top nine as two contestants were eliminated on Fox's "American Idol" last night.
