Tuesday Tales
Hot 97 radio personality Mr Cee was arrested for a lewd act after being caught by police in his car with a 20-year old male prostitute. Although initially the arrest was disputed, New York City police have confirmed that the arrest did occur. The DJ took to twitter to deny the allegations, and some have come out in support of the radio personality. There's been no word on a court date. First Beyonce severs ties with her father Matthew Knowles as her manager, now rumors are surfacing that Rihanna may leave hubby Jay Z's management. It's been rumored that Rihanna feels it may be a conflict of interest to be on the same label as Beyonce. Nothing has been confirmed, so stay tuned. Once again rumors are surfacing about Drake leaving Young Money Entertainment. Reportedly, he and Young Money CEO Lil Wayne discussed the matter, and Drake assured Weezy he's staying put. Another rumor that's surfaced is that teen sensation Justin Bieber will join the Young Money roster. Although the rumor hasn't been confirmed, he's been seen wearing Young Money and Cash Money gear. Mary J Blige will release her next album soon. It will be a follow up to her 1994 hit "My Life" and titled "My Life: My Journey". No word on a release date. Reunion fever has been reverberating through the pop and rock worlds as nearly a dozen disbanded or dormant acts from the past five decades are giving it another go, either on record, on tour, at festivals, or all of the above. 60's rockers Buffalo Springfield, 70's New Wave hitmakers The Cars, 80's post-punks Big Audio Dynamite, 90's alt-country stars The Jayhawks and pop-punks Blink 182 have all reunited. Blink 182 toured last year, but last recorded in 2003. Some get togethers seem temporary, while others seem fully energized. Representatives for Reggae star Sean Paul have denied that he's penning a tell all book and that he dated singer Beyonce some time back. The representatives stated that the two had a strictly professional relationship. On DVD: "TRON: Legacy/TRON: The Original Classic" and "Little Fockers". On the tube: "Glee" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "No Ordinary Family" on ABC and "Biggest Loser: Couples" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
