Wednesday Roundup

A picture of rapper Nicki Minaj with a caption reading "You're next". has surfaced. The ironic thing is, Lil Kim has received the picture and the beef between the two has been stirred up again. Only time will tell when the drama will end. A transvestite has announced that he/she is working on a tell all book detailing their sexual escapades with some of the hottest names in the entertainment industry. Reportedly, LL Cool J, Mr Cee and Eddie Murphy are among the names mentioned in the book. There's been no announcement regarding a release date for the book, however. Singer Toni Braxton was scheduled to perform on Mother's Day in Trinidad, but has had to cancel due to death threats. As most fans know, the singer has a new reality series featuring her sisters called "Braxton Family Values". Outkast member Big Boi recently tweeted that he's been in the studio with independent rock band Modest House. He's been working on some tracks for the groups next album with his engineer Chris Caramouche. He even posted a picture of himself in the studio with the band members. Kanye West and Jay Z have enlisted Beyonce and Bruno Mars to sing on the duo's upcoming single "Lift Off". The single was produced by Jeff Bhasker and will be featured on the duo's highly anticipated collaboration album "Watch The Throne". There's been no announcement regarding a release date for the album, however. The Cleveland rap Bone Thugs & Harmony has been hit with a lawsuit. Former associate Roland Brown, who was a writer on the 1996 platinum album "Family Scriptures", which was a side project says he hasn't been paid any royalties from the song "Take Your Time". It was the projects lead single. He seeks $27 million in damages. Besides Bone Thugs, Sony, Ruthless Records, Relativity, WMG, and Mo Thugs Inc are also named in the suite. This news comes at what has been a difficult time for the group. Founding member Krazie Bone announced that he would be leaving the group due to "uncontrollable circumstances".  R&B singer Monica will be an advisor on the NBC hit show "The Voice". She will work with contestants as they each work to win the grand prize. Be sure to tune in next week as the competition continues on "Dancing With The Stars".  The contestants will offer something new in the form of a current hit and something old in the form of a sixties oldie on tonight's "American Idol". Tomorrow,  fans  and contestants will find out who will be sent home. For comic book movie fans, the film "Thor" is set to hit theaters this weekend and is sure to contain plenty of high octane action. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "Survivor: Redemption Island" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Minute To Win It" on NBC. Happy hump day!
