Tuesday Tales

Rumor has it that singer Chris Brown and his entourage threaten a BET executive into giving him the People's Choice Award intended for Rihanna during an awkward moment at last Sunday's BET Awards. There's been no comment from the BET staff on the matter. In other BET news, social activist Ryan Adkins has blasted the cable network stating that it is more dangerous to African Americans that the KKK. He went on to say that the network rewards hip hop artists who promote violence, drugs and irresponsible sexual behavior. There's been no response from the cable network regarding the allegations. Just when doctors suggested that singer Sean Kingston would be hospitalized for six weeks after his jet skiing accident, the singer has been discharged and is recuperating at home. The singer was treated for a broken jaw, fractured wrist and water in his lungs. He took to his Twitter account to thank all his fans for their prayers and well wishes. Another rumor that hasn't died yet is the one claiming that the former members of Destiny's Child will reunite. As most fans know, Kelly Rowland is climbing the charts with her latest single "Motivation" and Beyonce's new album "4" hit stores today. As mentioned, executives at Beyonce's record label, Columbia, weren't too pleased with the album and asked that changes be made, to which she said no. Rumor has that the girls will begin recording in October for an album that may be called "Family Reunion". Some sources say the rumor is untrue. Only time will tell. Fans will have to wait and see. After battling a bad bout of laryngitis, British sensation Adele will resume her summer tour from August to October. The tour will include stops in Las Vegas, NV, Atlantic City, NJ, Durham, NC, Orlando, FL, Miami, FL and Spring TX, according to a statement released by the singer's record label. With new music from Jill Scott and Adele back on the concert circuit, the summer is certainly going to heat up. Jim Jones fans will be happy to know that the Dip Set general has released a new single called "So Cold". He released the single via New York's Hot 97 radio station. It's unclear whether the song will be released on an album or mixtape. NBC's "The Voice" wrapped up another week of competition, and only time will tell who will walk away with the grand prize. "The Bachelorette" wrapped up another episode this week as well. Tune in to learn which suitor wins Ashley's heart. On DVD: "The Lord of the Rings Motion Picture Trilogy (Extended Edition)" and "Sucker Punch". On the tube: "MasterChef" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Wipeout" on ABC and "America's Got Talent" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
