Friday Facts

As mentioned previously, executors of Michael Jackson's estate filed documents asking permission to pay the mortgage on a Las Vegas home Janet Jackson owns. Now, it appears that Jackson owns the home, and bought it for mother Katherine to stay in when she's in Las Vegas. Strange. Singer Bobby Brown is now in rehab, and while it may have appeared that he went on his own accord, it was court ordered. However, daughter Bobbi Kristina doesn't seem to impressed with the attempt. She didn't respond positively when asked by reporters at LAX about her father's rehab stint. Actress  Halle Berry is asking for help with the process of moving to France with daughter Nayla. She's eager to move due to hounding by the paparazzi. I think moving out of Los Angeles would be in order instead of moving to France. Congratulations to "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" star Kim Zolack are in order. She and her husband welcomed their second child, a baby boy, into the world. However, Zolack may appear on the show a little less since she's concentrating on her family. The legal team for R&B star Chris Brown has responded to a $16 million dollar lawsuit filed against their client in connection with the bottle throwing brawl in a New York nightclub in June. According to web site TMZ, a representative spoke to Brown's lawyer who called the lawsuit "frivolous". Brown and Drake are accused of instigating a brawl that left several people injured. The suit, which was filed by Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, a financial partner in W.i.P. nightclub, alleges that the two stars "shared a grudge against the other arising out of their relationships with the same woman", who reportedly is Rihanna. The suit also contends that the two arrived with their own army of bodyguards, security personnel, employees, friends  and members of their entourage, consisting of 15 heavily built men trained or experienced in hand-to-hand and weapons combat, stated the filing, according to the New York Post. While Brown's team seems unfazed by the suit, Drake's team has yet to comment. Fans looking forward to a new album from rapper Bow Wow will have to wait. In a Twitter rant posted recently, the Young Money  MC voiced frustration with the album's progress and stated he'll concentrate on touring. He added that touring is feeding his family more that record sales. He also voiced frustration with his current label situation. He signed with Young Money Records in 2009, but hasn't released an album since 2008's "New Jack City 2". Reportedly the album was to include collaborations with Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes and Talib Kweli. When pressed by fans regarding the album, he stated he's just not feeling motivated for an album. In theaters this weekend: "The Odd Life Of Timothy Green", "The Expendables 2", "Paranorman" and "Sparkle". On the tube: "NFL Preseason Football" on Fox, ""Teachers Rock" on CBS, "Shark Tank" on ABC and "America's Got Talent" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
