Monday Memo

The film "Taken 2" topped the weekend box office once again, earning over $20 million dollars. "Argo", "Sinister", "Hotel Transylvania" and "Here Comes The Boom" round out the top five films of the week.  It looks like the man who stated that the drugs and weapon found on rapper Nelly's tour bus is changing his story. Fans will recall the bus was pulled over in Texas during a routine stop when authorities discovered marijuana, heroin and a gun on board. While Nelly and several others were arrested, one gentlemen stated the items belonged to him. Nelly and the others arrested were let go. After nine years, rapper Turk may become a Hot Boy again. He was released from prison after serving an eight-year bid in prison. In 2005, he was convicted of attempted murder and felony possession of a firearm in connection with the shooting of a police officer in Memphis TN. During a recent interview, the MC said he's working on an autobiography and new music as well. As for a Hot Boys reunion, that's up in the air at the moment. Congratulations to actor Alphonso Ribeiro are in order. He tied the knot over the weekend. No other details are available. It looks like rapper/singer Wyclef Jean has a lot of damage control to do.  His charity for his homeland of Haiti has closed its doors and the allegations that the organization misspent funds haven't gone away. Among the expenditures are fees for fund raising appearances and a private jet for actress Lindsey Lohan. So far, no comment from Jean. Rapper Snoop Dogg is ready to drop it like it's hot. The rapper has inked a deal to endorse Hot Pockets. He says the item is a staple in his home. No word on when the first ad will air. Producer Scott Storch continues to have financial trouble. Now, the hit maker is wanted by authorities in Florida for failure to pay $20,000 in child support and other bills. A court has issued a warrant for Storch to be arrested on sight after he missed a court date, according to TMZ. The hip hop producer reportedly owes the mother of his child $28,300 in missed payments. If he makes good on the debt, he'll be able to avoid any further trouble with the court. Florida isn't the only place where Storch has skipped out on a bill. The Beverly Hill Hotel recently filed a police report claiming that he stuck them with a $4,000 bill. So far, Storch cannot be reached for comment. Financial issues are nothing new to the beatsmith, who confessed to blowing $30 million and battled tax issues in 2008. On the tube: "MLB Baseball Live" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on  CBS, "Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars Live" on ABC and "The Voice" on NBC. Happy Monday!
