Monday Memo

The film "Argo" topped the weekend box office, earning over $12 million dollars. "Hotel Transylvania", "Cloud Atlas", "Paranormal Activity 4", "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D" round out the top five films of the week. Rapper Lil Wayne is currently recovering at his mother's home after his recent health scare. The rapper suffered what appeared to be a seizure on board his private plane, which had to make an emergency landing in Texas where he was taken to a hospital. Now, his representatives say he was exhausted and dehydrated. At any rate, he's doing much better now. After video of him attacking a woman believed to be the mother of his child,  then saying those responsible for it's release were just broke and board, rapper Lil Reese has now gone into damage control by asking that others not judge him by his past. It appears his handlers may have played a part in the recent statement regarding the matter. Rapper 40 Glock is seeking damages from rapper Game stemming from a scuffle between the two sometime back. 40 Glock, who reportedly suffered several injuries during the scuffle, now says what's shown on the tape isn't all that occurred. He says Game drew a weapon on him and stated if he didn't take the beating, he'd kill him. So far, no response from Game. Cissy Houston, mother of the late Whitney Houston and granddaughter Bobbi Kristina have apparently come to an agreement regarding her inheritance. The teen will now receive $20 million dollars at 21, then the same amount again at 25. Houston's estate continues to grow. Some time ago the family attempted to block the inheritance. The members of the girl group Blaque are mourning the lost of group member Natina Reed. Reed was struck and killed by a car as she tried to cross a busy highway. Police as still trying to figure out what she was doing on the stretch of road. She leaves behind a 10-year-old son. Condolences to the Reed family. On the tube: "The X Factor" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, "Dancing With The Stars: All Stars" on ABC and "The Voice" on NBC. Happy Monday!
