Rapper Kurupt released a statement regarding the death of former Blaque member Natina Reed thanking fans for their prayers and well wishes. The two have a 10-year-old son together. Meanwhile, more details have emerged regarding her death. It's been revealed that she was on her cell phone while crossing a busy street before being struck and killed. Her family has since released a statement warning others of the danger of using a cell phone while in traffic. A judge has made clear that he's not happy that rapper Lil Wayne not only missed a Monday morning court hearing in his suit against producer Quincy Jones, Weezy's lawyers played tapes where the Young Money CEO refused to answer questions. The judge called his behavior "unreasonable and irresponsible". Weezy is suing Quincy Jones for using his music in a documentary about him without permission. Jones, meanwhile counter sued saying Wayne knew he would use the music. Chris Brown continues to juggle women like a circus act. He attended a Halloween party with current girlfriend amid rumors regarding he and Rihanna and other women as well. Actress Stacy Dash must really need attention. She posted a picture of herself at a Republican event with Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan with a caption underneath. Rapper/actress Queen Latifah has inked a deal for a new talk show. The show ill air in November. Rapper ASAP Rocky's much anticipated album has been delayed again. The official reason now is that the album has to be remastered. In the meantime, rapper Nicki Minaj isn't delaying the release of her new lip gloss. The gloss, which will be in her signature color, pink, will arrive in stores on schedule. Her new reality series will air in November. Rapper/producer RZA is preparing for the release of his directorial debut, "The Man With The Iron Fist". He has other projects in the works as well. Now if we can just get another Wu Tang Clan album out of him and his Staten Island buddies! Pitbull fans will be happy to know that the rapper has been added to an already stellar line up of performers at the American Music Awards. Other performers set to take the stage include Nicki Minaj, Carrie Underwood and Pink, among others. In addition to performing, he's been nominated in two categories: Favorite Male Artist, Pop/Rock and Favorite Artist, Latin. He's known for his high energy performances, so AMA viewers should expect a musical party. The American Music Awards will air next month. On DVD: "The Campaign", "Ruby Sparks", "Safety Not Guaranteed" and "First Position". Q Parker of 112 releases his debut solo album "The Manual" today.
