Tuesday Tales

Chicago rapper Chief Keef may go to jail. A judge is scheduled to decide whether the MC violated his probation by being interviewed at a gun range and being show holding a gun. Here's a backstage moment that one probably caught at the Golden Globes. Director Quinton Taratino responded to criticism of his use of the N-word in his films by saying he's simply stating the facts of the time period of his film "Django Unchained" and didn't want to sugar coat it. Since he likes to shock others, when actor Don Cheadle entered the room he asked that no N questions be asked. Only black people questions. During a recent interview with HuffPost Live, rapper Big Boi, of Outkast, revealed how he broke from Barack Obama supporting pears like Jay Z and Young Jeezy by voting for libertarian party candidate Gary Johnson.  He says he doesn't have any  issues with Obama the person, he's just more libertarian than most. After much criticism, Oxygen has cancelled the reality series starring rapper Shawty Lo. The program, which was to be titled "All My Baby Mamas", drew criticism for a concept that some believe projects a negative stereotype regarding African-American families. In one of several online petitions, producers of the show were condemned for exploiting Lo's situation. He has 11 children by 10 different women. Sabrina Lamb, author of the most popular petition, which drew 38,000 signatures, says the show's most egregious offense would be the impact on the children. She stated in an  interview with the Daily Beast that the show is about more than a rapper and his girlfriends. It's about the children who had no choice in how they came into the world. She added that the show sets them up to be ridiculed and made fun of and one one should be ok with that. No comment from Shawty Lo. Although she's been mum on baby news, Kim Kardashian opened up about her pregnancy during an interview on "The Today Show". Sitting along side sister Kourtney who she stars with on the series "Kim & Kourtney Take Miami", the reality stars said the bundle of joy is due in July. The couple recently purchased a home in Beverly Hills together and have discussed marriage, but she added she's in no rush to walk down the isle. West announced the pregnancy during a concert in Atlantic City, which Kim confirmed he did on his own. She added he does what he feels and may have been feeling it at that moment. She added that the pregnancy is a blessing. On DVD: "Taken 2" and "I Am Bruce Lee". On the tube: "Raising Hope" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Modern Family" on ABC and "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
