Wednesday Roundup

Rapper Chief Keef is in jail. He violated the terms of his probation by allowing himself to be shown holding a gun at a gun range during an interview. He will be sentenced in a few days. Rapper Cassidy is now speaking out about rape allegations against him. He now says that when he was 16 he and some friends had consensual sex with a young lady. The incident was taped, so he was never charged with a crime. Singer Rihanna cut her recent interview with Complex magazine short. During the interview, she was asked about her duet and relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. She replied that it's nobody's business. "Nobody's Business" happens to be the name of their duet as well. "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" star Kandi Burress has gotten engaged to her producer boyfriend. Rapper CamRon has just gotten engaged as well. Congratulations to both.  Yet another picture of rapper Ice T's wife CoCo and another man has surfaced, and it remains to be seen if the two will remain together. CoCo reportedly dmed the man and asked that he removed the pic, but he ratted her out instead. He responded by saying the two had a one night stand. Luther Campbell, of the eighties rap group 2 Live Crew had a few choice words for director Spike Lee. Lee criticized director Quinton Tarantino over his use of the N word in his film "Django Unchained". Campbell responded by saying the film more accurately depicts the African-American experience than any of Lee's films. Campbell added that Lee is upset because the character Samuel L. Jackson played in the film resembles him. Rapper Kid Cudi will make yet another appearance on the cover of Complex magazine. He'll make is sixth appearance on the February/March issue since 2009 (four solo appearances, one with WZRD and one as part of G.O.O.D. Music). In the article, the rapper opens up about battling depression and becoming hooked on prescription meds. The full story is online now, and the magazine hits newsstands on February 4. The new season of Fox's "American Idol" begins tonight, and needless to say, it will be interesting to see how things progress. Rumors of a Mariah Carey-Nicki Minaj feud ran rampid, and Carey admitted during an interview that she hired additional security after a verbal confrontation with Minaj. Only time will tell how things will play out. Be sure to tune in. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "The Middle" on ABC and "Whitney" on NBC. Happy hump day!
