Thursday Dish
It looks like rapper C Murder won't be leaving prison any time soon. A judge has denied yet another appeal in his first degree murder case. The rapper and his lawyers say he was convicted due to shaky evidence. Fans will recall he was charged with killed a young man outside a New Orleans nightclub. We'll have to wait and see where things go from here. Rapper Ja Rule is now a free man. He was released today after serving a two-year sentence for gun possession. "Love & Hip Hop" star K Michelle caused quite a stir when during an interview she referred to both singer Lyfe Jennings and "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes' significant other as gay. Jennings heard about the comments and stated he'll never tour with her ever. Meanwhile, Leakes confronted Michelle about the comments only to be greeted with a slap. Oh how lady like. Rapper Wale recently let it be known what will happen to anyone who dears to disrespect him. He was attending a Toronto Raptors game when announcer Matt Devlin took some sarcastic jabs at him. He took to Twitter to warn Devlin to watch his mouth and his clearly seen walking to the announcer both visibly angry. The A Raptors rep told web site TMZ that Devlin's remark was just him making fun of himself for not knowing who Wale was. The rep added that they've tried reaching out to Wale's management company to see how they can turn the incident into a positive adding that they'd invite him to join Devlin in the announce booth. So far, there's no word on when of if the rapper will take the Raptors up on their offer. Singer Rihanna has been busy posting photos again. She posted photos of herself on the beach and another with boyfriend Chris Brown. Here's wishing the two the best of luck. Model Amber Rose dispelled the rumor that she was having her baby by saying she hasnt' delivered. She is due soon, however. Rapper Lil Wayne doesn't regret much of what he said during his All-Star weekend rant, except the part about "F*** Lebron". He said he doesn't regret what he said or being who he is. He did apologize to the city of Miami for the apparent misunderstanding. He went on to explain the origin of his problems with the Miami Heat organization by saying it all began with a verbal back and forth between he and Dwyane Wade two weeks ago when the Heat was playing the Los Angeles Lakers. He also revealed why he assumed he was banned from NBA All-Star weekend. He was set to perform with Alicia Keys during the halftime show, but was then told he was no longer on the bill and was denied tickets to the Sunday game. He added that the NBA has since contacted him to explain that NBA Commissioner David Stern made the decision to keep him away from All-Star activities to ensure there would be no further incidents between the rapper and Heat players. So far, no one from the Miami Heat organization has responded to Wayne's account of the events. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS, "Zero Hour" on ABC and "Community" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
