Monday Memo

The film  "The Croods" topped the weekend box office, earning over $44 million. "Olympus Has Fallen", "Oz: The Great And Powerful", "The Call" and "Admission" round out the top five films of the week. Rapper Gucci Mane is a wanted man. He's wanted by police after a soldier claims when he approached the Atlanta rapper in the VIP section of a night club to take a photo, he was hit in the head instead. Atlanta police have confirmed that they do have a warrant for the "Freaky Gurl" rapper for aggravated assault. Gucci Man hasn't commented on the incident nor has he turned himself in to authorities. It looks like rapper Too Short will only get a misdemeanor for his arrest recently. He was arrested and booked for DUI and drug possession and attempted to run from police. Although he was reportedly caught with a small amount of meth on him, that charge was dropped. Who knew that rapper Jay Z had an Instagram account. The account is linked to his Lifestyles web site. Recently a fan posted a comment regarding wife BeyoncĂ©'s new single, which Hova posted with the caption, "no shade just had to post". How's that for diplomacy? Singer Rihanna's stay away request has been granted. A court ordered that there must be at least 100 yards between the singer and a fan after the fan attempted to break into her Los Angeles home. The man actually broke into a neighbor's home and took a few items before being apprehended by a civilian. Once LAPD arrived, the man stated that Rihanna invited him and that he had poems. He did have poems on him. Rihanna was not at the neighbor's home or her home at the time of the incident. In the meantime, she kept students she wanted to honor for their charity work waiting for some time before finally making an appearance. When she arrived, she stated traffic was the issue. She even tweeted about it. Rapper Future may now be wishing that he'd  kept his mouth shut. After arranging the pay the mother of his child $1,600 a month as a result of reporting that he earns $16,000, he was heard bragging about how he keeps at least $25,000 in his pocket. The woman is, of course, taking him back to court. No comment from Future. On the tube: "Bones" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, "Dancing With The Stars Live" on ABC and "The Voice" on NBC. Happy Monday!
