Friday Facts
More details in the Paris Jackson alleged suicide attempt. The teen is being kept under 72 hour suicide watch after cutting her arm and taking pills. Police were called to the Jackson home after receiving a report of the incident. Meanwhile, the man accused of killing her father, Dr. Conrad Murray, reportedly used a jail phone to leave a message for the teen. As to be expected, some are not happy with the Dr.'s decision to contact the girl. No comments have been made by family members. Rapper Gucci Mane has a message for fellow rapper Chief Keef. He stated during an interview that his advice to the teen rapper is "Don't do the same things I did". The Atlanta rapper added that he tries to tell youth something positive. The man who confessed to helping the Nation of Islam kill the late Notorious B.I.G. has escaped prison. He was incarcerated for tax fraud, but has never been brought to trial for the 1997 murder of the Brooklyn MC. He also published a book titled "Diary Of An Ex-Terrorist". He is still on the lam. The rumors regarding singer Beyonce and pregnancy were shot down by the pop star's team recently. An official statement was released to "CBS This Morning" which read, "Stop the crazy. She is absolutely, positively not pregnant at this time". Anchor Gayle King received the call. The rumors began after the pop star posted a picture on her Tumblr page with her drinking what appeared to be wine, which conspiracy theorists insist was grape juice. Adding fuel to the fire is Weight Watchers, which assumed the singer had a baby bump during her performance at the Meta Gala. King said regarding the matter, "It's true that she and Jay Z want to have another baby when the time is right. And when it's right, they will share". In the meantime, the star will kick off the domestic leg of her world tour by performing at the BET Experience later this month. Summer has officially begun and that means summer movies. Several films are scheduled to hit theaters and it will be interesting to see which films do well at the box office. In theaters this weekend: "The Internship" and "The Purge". On the tube: "Bones" on Fox, "The American Baking Competition" on CBS, "Shark Tank" on ABC and "Dateline NBC" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
