Wednesday Roundup
Legal trouble for rapper 2 Chainz. The Atlanta artist was caught boarding a plane with marijuana and another drug. No word on a hearing just yet and no comment from the rapper. This after he was robbed in broad daylight in San Francisco. The tape of the 911 call summoning police to the Jackson home does indicate that Paris Jackson did attempt suicide. The teen is now in UCLA Medical Center where her father Michael Jackson was pronounced dead. No word on when she will be released. Singer Bobby Brown will reportedly join the cast of the BET reality series "Hollywood Husbands". Singer Robin Thicke left the show to focus on his music career. No word on when Brown will begin tapping his episodes. During an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" rapper Lil Wayne discussed his health issues and hinted at retiring after the album "Tha Carter V". No word on a tour or any other projects in the works. Rapper Freddie Gibbs wouldn't use the phrase "no hard feelings" to describe his relationship with Young Jeezy. After signing with Jeezy's CTE imprint, Gibbs has left the label. During an interview with MTV News, Gibbs said he believed in what the label was doing and wanted to be a part of it. After some time, things changed. Jeezy isn't taking his departure as a lost. He's signed Detroit rap crew Doughboyz Cashout to the label. On the tube: "MasterChef" on Fox, "The American Baking Competition" on CBS, "The Middle" and "The 2013 Stanley Cup Final Live" on NBC. Happy hump day!
